A nice place to live!!

Equestrian walk is well designed estate with easy access to almost everything one needs in a day to day life. The only challenge is the number of visitor parking but its manageable. But am quite impressed by the two EV charging points provided which not all developers provide.

Very prompt responses so far. Customer service has been great so far.

Excellent quality but disappointing local surroundings and upkeep

Design and build quality fantastic- lots of different variations of houses and the quality of the brickwork and finish is great. The garden of the properties has drainage issues which has not been addressed properly by the building management and there have been ongoing unsolved issues here. Property management are no existent- do not do anything and then try to charge for their services that we haven’t even had

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

New co-op opened recently means there is now a local shop but apart from that no other amenities near by. Excellent transport links to reading and Wokingham by bus. Parking is available however no restrictions means that people park outside peoples housing which is annoying. No traffic noise or anti social behaviour as of yet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not dealt with or responded to issues with garden despite numerous times it has been raised.

I like the design and that every house isn’t the same as there is some variety. I live in a flat and the interior inside is good and very spacious. More plug sockets would be useful in some areas though. Garden maintenance is well kept and cleaning internal areas is good too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good local shops and several local cosy pubs, close to towns like Wokingham and Reading but still somewhat secluded. Very limited parking often have to park on the road which is a walk away. Whole estate has very little parking bays. Bin room is no properly cleaned and people have fly tipped - sofa, furniture etc in it and has been there for a few months.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Setting up bills was hard as I had to chase up who my supplies where as I wasn’t told when I moved in and only months after when I chased it up multiple times.

I am very happy with the quality of the furniture.

The design of the development is pleasant, not yet finished so I cannot appreciate the final piece. Until now I had a good experience with property management. The apartment is very nice, I purchased it furnished. I am very happy with the quality of the furniture. The appliances are all Smeg, very high quality.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shop only 5 minutes walk away. Post office 5 min away bar car. Very close to other shops by car which provides a variety of choices. Close to train station (car ride). Only one bus service available (no 3), the ride is quite long, would be beneficial to have a shorter route bus that goes to the train station. Very little parking available for people who have more than 1 car, this is a real issue as we were told we are not allowed to use visitor parking. Bin collection every week, but the bin storage room is messy, should be more organised. Traffic is light even though we are close to the main road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Until now the response was fast and they solved my queries very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Setting up utility bill accounts.

It’s a really nice development with nice people and nice design. Homes are built to a high standard and customer service has been good. Local facilities are good, development is small so no facilities in the development itself. Property management firm aren’t fantastic, few local grumbles but nothing that impacts day to day experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local facilities are limited but due to increase in time. Easy access to Wokingham and Reading for all services however. Pleasant development, quite street with nice neighbours. People do not stick to parking rules and not enforced.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not Applicable. The developers were on sight at the point of move in so provided support whilst here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The busyness of the main road at peak school hours. Traffic backs up making it difficult to get out of the road.
