We moved in to Elizabeth Park in Hersham 2.5 years ago. Ever since they took our money the post-purchase customer service has been atrocious. We have neighbours who have had snagging lists that still haven’t been completed, roof leaks and to top it off they left the development months ago and haven’t finished it. The roads have not had they top layer added. There are broken curb stones where their site vehicles trashed them and no contact from them at all despite asking for updates numerous times. The estate is a mess. DO NOT BUY A BEWLEY HOME. You will regret it. All they want is your money and then you won’t hear from them.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local to train station and a Waitrose. School at end of road but limited noise or impact. Walk to local town centre in 20 mins.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No. They ignore messages from myself and neighbours.

How bad their customer service is. It’s non existent.

The development itself is appealing. The exterior design of my property and the surrounding properties it is very pleasant. It is very modern but at the same time it gives you the feeling that you live in a classy traditional neighbourhood. I don’t have much to say about the property management as we are still waiting for issues to be sorted, even though they have been reported more than 6 months ago.

Hersham road gets very busy in the morning and afternoons due to school runs.

Nothing to report here. We’ve been told everything that we needed to know

I would have loved to be able to use the loft space.

A wonderful place to call your home

We’ve lived on the development for under a year and we have absolutely loved our time here so far. We adore our home, the quality of the property and the fabulously spacious design. Externally, the development is very extractive and safe. A lot of couples and families live here and it is a safe neighbourhood.

Next to shops, school, nursery, supermarkets - a very convenient area to live! Especially if you work in the city, 5-10 minute walk to the train station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I personally have no requested anything however I know other neighbours have and they have received help and guidance

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be sure to check for drafts coming from the balcony area. Luckily, we live on ground floor but I know other neighbours have had issues. Car parking spaces should have plot numbers (not house numbers) added to all to avoid confusion

The properties are built to a really good standard, with high spec fittings and appliances, we felt comfortable moving in straight away. In terms of property design, we love the layout of our townhouse, but aren’t very keen on the houses with the small kitchen at the front. The building and property management has been great from the start and we’d recommend Bewley to our friends and family.

Location is great for families, it’s also good for commuting into London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we had known that one thermostat (1st floor), covers the ground floor too. Makes it very cold in the winter, we’ve since had to install a smart heating system (as have our neighbours).

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of our home is the layout - it really works for us having a large kitchen diner.

The communal areas have been landscaped very nicely and are maintain well. The development is kept tidy and clean. The rooms are spacious and the hallway and stairs are very ample for when you need to move things around. My garden is south facing so get plenty of sunshine which is great too

The houses are lovely homes. They are situated close to lots of convenient shops and public transport. I have really enjoyed living here.
