Beautiful and peaceful place to live

The area is modern and design oriented, the facilities and home fitted appliances are all of high quality. The management team is responsive, and doing a good job, although I haven't contacted them much. I always feel lucky and satisfied about the decision to buy a property and live here. It would be even more beautiful if there is more greenery and flowers.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Like the community gym, central park, near the river, the tube station, and the O2 with plenty places to eat, shop, and have fun. Dislike lack of a big supermarket.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

service fee is quite high

What is the best feature of your home:

I love every bits of my home, all the fitted appliances are of good quality that I enjoyed using them.

Overall happy with my flat. As most of the newbuilds, the quality of materials is not always too notch.

Overall happy with my flat. As most of the newbuilds, the quality of materials is not always too notch. I was the first to enter this flat and I have been living for 4 years in it. There are a number of things that have started to fall apart (door handles, taps etc). On the positive side, the apartment is warm and very bright. The balcony is great as well and the view is really nice. For those having kids, the St. Mary Magdalene school is right across the street. If you are considering living in North Greenwich I think this is a great choice.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to the school and about 7 mins to the tube. Quiet area and lively view of the park.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing in particular.

What is the best feature of your home:

The view and the big windows. On sunny days it is a pleasure to sit in the balcony

Good area for families

This is a good area for families because of the green spaces and all places that people can take kids to. We also have a lot of friends in this area so we get to meet them often and have playdates. It is close to Greenwich so that's a plus

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Green area, O2 likes Dislike. No supermarket very close. Charlton not too close

Good

Easy access to city, good build quality, but a bit of a building site at the moment. O2 can be busy when you get back from work but never hugely disruptive, bars are ok, driving range is good. Nice to be surrounded by the river

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Concierge and gym with most tenancies, but still a lot of construction around

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How many community events there are in the park and by the O2, they are really good, things like markets etc

Clean and comfortable and safe for kids.

Clean and comfortable and safe for kids. However, our service charge goes up dramatically enough every year that it will probably prove to be a money pit in the end. You'll also not have your own water heater and will be trapped paying £30 a month plus actual usage to Loka. Three years in, we're only just starting to be billed accurately. If not for their mandatory 10 year contract with new owners, they would not be able to sustain a customer base. Please tell us what you like and/or dislike about this location: Easy access to the rest of London via the Jubilee line, but the actual local shops are out of town style sheds that are incredibly unpleasant to access as a pedestrian. More often, I get the tube one stop to Canary Wharf to run errands. Please share one thing (or more) that you wish you had known before you moved in: I wish I'd realised it was a bad idea to be locked into a contract with an energy company that isn't beholden to OFGEM rules. Also just how unpleasant the walk to the shops would be--we were rushed into placing a deposit due to the London property market.
