Great development

Really like the design of the development especially the wrapping of the existing tower block. Removed quite a lot of the mature trees which is disappointing. They have since planted more but these trees are in their infancy and will take decades to really fill the space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Wonderful place to live despite the massive change to the area. The development is nice in its appearance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes all my problems have been dealt with in a timely manner

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Busy communal areas with staff visible this is comforting and gives the appearance of safe and secure.

Agar grove as a new community space

Hellen F (Tenant)

Dec 2022

The Agar Grove development is a great renovation project; I love the design of the new buildings, how it is well connected transport wise and how they created a communal garden with a playground. It became a place for our community where a lot of kids with their parent spend lot of time.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The shops around are great as well as the transport links. The street are safe and I never felt unsafe walking alone.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes the building management replied to the issues we had in the flat; usually their service is quite good.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only bad thing is that because of the new development ongoing we have a lot of noise throughout the whole day but ultimately it will be an improvement for everyone.

Keep an eye on this interesting development in Camden

Giuseppe M (Tenant)

Dec 2022

The area is going through extensive works with new buildings coming up, new structures, parks with initiatives taking place. The area is also really close to King's Cross and main transportation spots, giving the chance to the residents to reach every part of the country or outside the country with less than a 20 minutes walk.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Agar grove is just a handful of minutes away from Camden Town. The area is quiet and with enough small shops and amenities for everyday needs, otherwise the centre with all the shops you might need is close, just like Camden Market.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, the building has passively by making sure that elevators worked fine and to keep us updated on any developments or changes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The works carried out bring with them noise and dust. The train lines are also close, making it complicated to sleep at night after 1.

It’s Camden! (…for good and bad)

Steve J (Tenant)

Oct 2021

The building itself is a big ugly 1960s relic. Let’s be honest, it’s an eyesore of a landmark. The flats within are a reasonable size (in my experience). And the quality of the interiors is mixed. Doubled glazed to varying degrees of quality. If you have a room overlooking the railway tracks, this can be an issue with overnight freight trains. West facing flats do get some great sunsets. The staff are friendly and so are most of the inhabitants.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location - Camden, Kentish Town and Kings Cross right on the doorstep. Really well connected, though proximity to the railway can be a big downside on noise and air quality. Also, be wary of leaving a bike locked outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t raised too many issues, but have had a reasonable response.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Issues with freight train noise overnight. Appreciating the north south access of the building regards sunlight and local building work
