30 Harbord Square - 5 stars!

30 Harbord square has been an absolute pleasure living in. Adriana and the building manager Amardeep are both amazing, professional, and so incredibly helpful from the very start of the process at viewing, and throughout. Both Adriana and Amardeep are always happy to help and any issues are resolved promptly. I’m really happy with the building management. The cleaning staff and security team are also very friendly too. The building is secure, clean, and has fantastic views. Rent is reasonable and the bills are pretty standard for London. That’s not fault of the building, and the council tax is tower hamlets.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love being on the Canary Wharf estate. There's everything you need at your door. Amazon fresh, Waitrose, M&S, and Tesco to name a few grocery stores, five underground shopping malls, loads of restaurants and bars, and the best 24 hour security I’ve ever had living in London. 30 Harbord Square is within walking distance of all major transport connections. Canary Wharf tube station is closest, and there is also Heron Quays DLR, Canary Wharf DLR, South Quay DLR, and Bladkwall DLR within the walking distance. There are also numerous buses to take you around the city, and it’s less than a 5 minutes walk from the new Elizebeth line. The estate is always really clean, and the grounds are well presented.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Phone calls, and emails are always responded to promptly and all problems are resolved in a timely manner. There’s always someone available onsite and in the office during the day. There’s also a 24 hour emergency number.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t realise there were so many different energy providers. After obtaining quotes, I decided to remain with the original supplier who came with the property:)

30 Harbord Square stands out as a testament to modern living, encapsulating both style and security within its architectural design. The building, equipped with the latest technology and security gadgets, offers peace of mind and a sense of futuristic living. The attention to detail in the design and the emphasis on safety are evident from the moment you step inside. The facilities at 30 Harbord Square are top-notch, with advanced security features and technology-infused doors enhancing both convenience and security. The quality of these amenities is unparalleled, and the maintenance team deserves a special mention for their professionalism. They ensure the building remains pristine, implementing continuous updates and maintenance seamlessly, without disrupting daily life. Adriana and Amardeep, the building management team, reflect the development's commitment to excellence. Their proactive approach and dedication to resident satisfaction have significantly enhanced the living experience. Their efforts, coupled with effective property management, ensure any issues are addressed swiftly, maintaining the high standards of 30 Harbord Square. The community and environment surrounding the development are equally impressive. Well-connected by bus and train links, the area offers easy access to the wider city while retaining a sense of secluded luxury with its security gates. This balance of connectivity and privacy fosters a unique community spirit, making 30 Harbord Square not just a place to live but a place to belong. In conclusion, 30 Harbord Square delivers an exceptional living experience, combining modern design, outstanding facilities, and a vibrant community. It represents urban living at its best, set in a secure and well-maintained environment. I wholeheartedly recommend this development to those seeking a high-quality, secure, and connected lifestyle.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Canary Wharf offers a vibrant mix of modern conveniences and urban lifestyle. The area boasts a wide range of high-quality shops, upscale restaurants, and trendy bars, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. The open spaces, including parks and waterfront areas, provide a refreshing escape from the bustling city life. Transport links are a major plus, with excellent connectivity to central London via the Underground (Jubilee Line), DLR, and upcoming Elizabeth Line, making commuting and exploring the city highly convenient. However, peak times can see overcrowding, and weekend closures for maintenance can be a nuisance. Residential life on the streets of Canary Wharf is generally of a high standard. The area is well-maintained, with regular bin collections and minimal anti-social behaviour, contributing to a safe and clean environment. However, parking can be challenging and expensive, primarily designed for short stays and residents with permits. One downside is the potential for noise, especially from traffic and ongoing construction, as the area continues to develop. This can detract from the otherwise peaceful setting, particularly in busier commercial zones. Overall, Canary Wharf is an excellent place for those seeking a dynamic urban lifestyle with the convenience of modern amenities and transport links, though it comes with some of the typical city-living like high living costs.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Massive kudos to the dynamic duo, Adriana and Amardeep, for transforming our move-out experience into something out of a dream! These stars of the building management world didn't just meet expectations; they vaulted over them with grace and professionalism. From seamless handling of referencing to the swift return of our deposit, they made every step feel like a breeze, a rare find in the maze of agency processes. Their dedication shone brightly, turning potential headaches into moments of ease. A huge thank you to this incredible team for their unparalleled support and for making our departure as joyful as our stay!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before moving into 30 Harbord Square, I wish I'd known about the car-free zone policy. Parking is a challenge due to no on-site facilities. For car owners, it's crucial to explore nearby parking options or adapt to alternative transport methods. Plan ahead to avoid unexpected inconveniences.

Well-managed, developing property.

Our building management Adriana and Amardeep are communicative and friendly. They make an effort to respond to resident concerns in an efficient and informative manner. The building is well maintained and security is very present in the surrounding area. A minor point of improvement would be if window cleaning could include flats in the middle of the building. But generally, it is a safe and comfortable place to live!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location and amenities are good. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the Elizabeth line is very convenient for commuting into central London. Construction noises and air pollution at the moment are bad.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have not had a problem so far however, if we do need any information from the building management, they are very responsive and helpful .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

This is a great area to live, there are lots of amenities to hand and everything you need is pretty close by - shops, bars, restaurants. It’s also nice to have access to green space in Greenwich, which is a short journey away. Otherwise, you do have to be aware that construction on new buildings is ongoing here on a daily basis, so you have to account for noise and air pollution.

Building management provide effective and good support. They're communicative and quick to respond to any concerns - really so much better than my previous experience of dealing with landlords/ other estate agents. The design of the development is definitely improving as more buildings are completed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Convenient access to shops and gyms. Excellent transport links into central London. A negative is the lack of bus routes available.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven't had any major issues with our flat, but the building management have communicated general safety checks and repairs to the building well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would say definitely take the time to explore more than just central London from this property - Greenwich is so close and gorgeous if you want to access more green space.

30 Harbord Square is a well-designed and well-managed development, with a focus on sustainability, community living, and high-quality amenities. The property management on this building is also excellent, with a focus on providing high-quality services to the residents. We are very lucky to have Adriana and Amardeep as our management team as they both responsive to the needs of the tenants and works very hard to listen and to compromise if possible.

The area is well-connected with easy access to public transportation and is located near many popular attractions and amenities. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes in the area, as well as a vibrant nightlife scene. One of the highlights of living in Wood Wharf is the Canary Wharf estate, which is located nearby. This is a major business district in London, and home to many international companies, providing plenty of employment opportunities. Additionally, the area is well-suited for outdoor activities, with several parks and green spaces nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes and in a timely manner. The time that I needed the help, both of them are very helpful and kind understanding of my situation at that time. I’m truly grateful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s a numerous of new buildings being built in the area so noice can little bit an issue in the morning but this is very minor to watch out.
