N Communities Reviews “The concierge are just amazing. When there was a minor issue in the flat, such as the lightbulb fusing, (or when I accidentally broke the TV cable), the concierge reacted immediately. The problems were fixed and replaced instantaneously. In previous flat I had issues with my post and parcels, but here it’s just so much easier since the concierge take all deliveries. All the furnishing in my flat is brand new and well done to a style that suits me. There is complimentary WiFi which is a massive bonus. One great feature was when I moved in; they sent an email with instructions for how to set up the bills and use the utilities. I thought this was an extra touch where Dalston Works goes the extra mile.” - Adam, a verified resident at Dalston Works You can read more reviews from N Communities residents by clicking on the properties below. Dog friendly city centre living

Hannah C (Tenant)

Kampus, M1

Jul 2024

The Kampus community is doing a lot right, from the facilities available (gym, nearby parking, bars and restaurants) to the amazing staff who are always happy to help with any building questions. The interior of my apartment is also worth mentioning, it’s crisp and contemporary design has been easy to keep clean and comfortable. It is also so fully equipped that I could live comfortably as soon as I moved in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of Kampus is everything I’ve ever wanted and needed out of a city centre abode. It’s within 5 minutes of all of the city’s best dining and coffee spots with some of my all time favourites (Pollen and Nell’s) being directly below my apartment building. When I want to meet mates at either restaurant they can park directly outside with a reasonably priced car park that’s usually got space for them. The dog friendly living has been a game changer and my beagle absolutely loves it here and has come on leaps and bounds from the dog social aspect of kampus. He has lots of new resident doggy friends. The dog shop that’s part of the kampus is amazing, the products are great, staff are lovely and we get resident discount! Super convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Incredibly efficient service from building managers. Nothing is ever too much trouble and we’ve lost or left our keys in our apartment more times than your average resident :)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d have known that the gym was so well equipped and maintained and be on par with a city centre gym I pay a monthly membership for.

Perfect but lounge/kitchen too small.

Al Gadd (Tenant)

The Marches, GU21

Jul 2024

The overall design is very good although we think the guest toilet could have been removed and the door to the lounge changed to 90 degrees this would make the lounge longer and more usable. The oven is too small small and linked with the micro wave there is no facillitie for racks in the oven and you cannot stop the turntable going round.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent situation above local shops and the lifts make it easy to get to the shops I want to visit

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management has been very helpful when required

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Management very helpful with new neighbours and so on

The design is modern

v kozikhin (Tenant)

The Marches, GU21

Jul 2024

The design is modern, and the properties (both the flats and the premises) are in good condition. Elevators work is stable. The disposal chutes work is a little bit less stable; it is a huge building, so it is hard to make all the tenants use it properly. It is mostly an issue if chutes are full or clogged during the weekends; they are quickly fixed on weekdays. The administration and support team are responsive and nice. Parcels and deliveries are safely stored. Modern apps allow you to contact administration with requests and manage your property. There are extra activities like monthly events. There are shared zones with a little bit of entertainment.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The property is close to High Street and Commercial Way, with an abundance of shops, barbers, malls, etc.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team is nice and responsive. Requests could be made through the app. Response time is quick.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Good or bad, any insights which you couldn't get from a typical viewing or tips you would share with a new neighbour are highly valued by our community.

An advanced and civilized approach to renting... FINALLY!

Kimmy S (Tenant)

The Marches, GU21

Jul 2024

My husband and I absolutely adore The Marches! The entire ethos of this place is revolutionary and certainly a more advanced and civilized approach to renting. Everything has been carefully considered with the tenant in mind, from the ample storage and excellent quality fittings and finishings in the apartments, to the work & cosy spaces. The staff are incredible (especially Ashleigh Tosh), and nothing is too much trouble. I would encourage every renter to consider Build for Rent properties as I believe this is the way of the future!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is perfect! Outside your front door is access to all the shops, nightlife, restaurants you could wish for. The train station is a 2 minute walk away! The parking in Woking is the only annoying factor. There is zero free parking and, unless you buy an annual permit, it costs £15 a day!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Punctual, polite, and efficient. Communication is excellent, we are kept in the loop regarding all building maintenance works (bin chute, lift servicing, recycling, etc.)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking - it is a tricky one, and super expensive. Do you research. Other than that, absolutely everything is perfect and we are very happy here.
