The houses are very spacious

The houses are very spacious with 4 double bedrooms and a massive garden. Inside could have been designed better with a kitchen diner rather than a separate kitchen & dining room, we have a massive driveway so don’t really need an integrated garage so could have done so much more with the space

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

As the village grows more is been built. We now have a Londis in the square which is very handy, 2 pubs within walking distance and plenty of parks, green spaces and lanes for walking the dogs The streets are narrow so when people park on the road and not on their driveway it makes it awkward to pass in certain areas Transport isn’t amazing with a bus service every hour so if kids miss the bus for school then they are late.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues previously raised have always been resolved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The amount of new houses being built in the village

I love the design of my house I just wish I had a bigger garden, and a driveway attached to my house other than that it's a wonderful house with alot to do inside decorating wise and alot of space for furniture ect, the property has been managed very well

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

it's a lovely area with alot of parks and space to take the kids out, it has a school down the road and a shop and nursery

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

yes I raised an issue with the toilets breaking and they was quick to fix

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the garden sizes can be small speciallybif you have children but other than that everything's perfect

Nice if it was just a private estate.

I do like the layout of the estate, and am glad that there is only one way in and out, as it stops any "rat runs" developing. Theres alot of social housing with its associated antisocial problems but luckily it's not too near us so we haven't had any effect from the issues as yet!!!! It's just a shame that there are many who have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on their dream home just to share it with social tenants.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like the position of our home. A small private road and right on the perimeter of the estate. The house is very well designed, with larger rooms and windows compared to other new builds. The bad bits are the state of the grassed areas, the unfinished roads which will wreck your cars tyres and suspension in due course, and where the pond is, that area is getting too much attention from the feral kids who have already started to throw stuff in it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Too many social housies on the estate. So some antisocial issues. Others complaining about not having a place for children to play but there's plenty of room for one by the flats. Terrible rubble filled clay soil so not able to plant directly into the ground.

What is the best feature of your home:

Large rooms and windows. Great layout of the house. Private location and large gardens front and rear.

it has a lot of local parks pubs and a school and now a shop which is an added bonus for us, bin collections are collected on time, theres a nice bus route which runs every hour

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Overall an ok place to live.

The paddocks is a nice place to live overall, and if you have kids very convenient. There is absolutely no sense of community but that's normal for new builds. The taller houses block out a lot of sunlight which is bad, but this is another reality of new housing developments. We live on the edge next to a field so its not too bad. If i was to suggest an improvement it would be more of a village style design instead of trying to cram-in as many houses as physically possible.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good - location Bad - designed to cram-in as many units as possible. Parking - as you might expect some issues but not too bad. I always park on my drive, however some people are either incapable and/or too lazy. Traffic noise can be loud sometimes, but thats because there's some teenager's with a Nissan whos exhaust is hanging off, who think theyre in Tokyo drift, nothing anyone on the estate can do.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Overall they've responded well. However, my windows are obviously cheap as they have broke just outside of the warranty. Some don't open and/or close.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn't realise there was an extra management fee by Bournville. This is a reality of modern housing but also a BS one. I'm not sure what they do aside write some leaflets about sustainability and some pictures of happy people playing on the grass.
