A shocking, sub standard finish that an average DIYer could easily surpass. Walls not sanded prior to painting, drips, runs, holes. Doors cut to different lengths leaving large gaps below doors! Skirting boards fitted using excessive “no nails”resulting in large gaps between walls and skirting-then filled with excessive caulk.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Poor roads,crime,anti-social behaviour rubbish everywhere poor pubs/shops speeding vehicles . Quiet area. Good bin collections, nice neighbours

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Extremely thin walls with virtually no sound proofing

What is the best feature of your home:

Cul De Sac location with a nice garden plot. Pretty views over the countryside

Poor quality building...literally have to change everything since moving in 3 years ago.. going to spend a little fortune on the outside of the house too as everything needs replacing already!! Whatever I paid for it 3 years ago has now gone up in value by 60k!!! Wasn’t worth what I paid for it then let alone how much it cost now!! You have to spend a lot of money for quality and that is the bottom line.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is actually good in my view. I don’t have kids so wouldn’t be able to comment about d books etc but area is quiet and rural. We have had quite a few car theft recently and some empty house been robbed too but the actual development is quiet. 15 min drive from the motorway; I have two parking spaces but they are very small and close to next door neighbour who have access to them two which is not great…

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Yes… don’t buy a house from papers. If you can, view it first as you then get an idea what you are signing up for!!

What is the best feature of your home:

After I put my foot down and spent my own [additional] money I’d say… my kitchen, living room , main bedroom and second bedroom.. still to be done (as per my standard): bathroom, downstairs’ toilets, staircase and outdoors.

Building management is laughable Customer care too Snags a nightmare Design choices all of a poor quality, cheap materials Green spaces 4 years on cannot be used House looks on to an area that is only maintained when I complain twice a year when it over grows then is just cut and left to rot

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Where do I start? Issues from the day we moved in, had to get the director involved. Sales team asked us to move in early amd offered to pay out last months rent for us to be given on completion. Then lied and refused to give it! Director sorted it straight away. Then constant snags such as, terrible screed of floor feeling obvious bumps, workers came to fix one thing and dented the wall and didn't admit it or fix it, had to have the bathroom re-plastered 3 times due to shoddy work, driveway too narrow to turn car in and out of, road dug up countless times blocking access to house no warning, litter at site office resulting in rats, digger smashing up concrete into smithereens for weeks all day every day house was shaking noise ridiculous, 4 years in no tarmac on the road and huge bump to get onto street, no consideration for residents builders block access with no care, 'green spaces' undone you can't even walk on, lack of visitor parking, shoddy finishes on bathroom, enquire and kitchen, turfed over huge rocks and debris in garden, had to have tiles ripped out in shower within months as they were never sealed water tight.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How poor the sales/ after sales team were. Completely ruined the experience of buying our first home with the issues from the moment we got our keys

What is the best feature of your home:

The view is nice Garden is a decent size Master bedroom nice size

Good house design Worst gardens ever Horrible road conditions Open space doesn't get maintained Two years warranty is painful to trigger and get something done. Keepmoat's customer service is worst I have ever came across. Still got issues pending from two years ago.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good area and great neighbourhood. Very low traffic within the estate. Really bad road conditions, people have had various tyre punchers . Keepmoat doesn't care.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Their customer service. Its unprofessional and doesn't care about their customers.

What is the best feature of your home:

Space and location of the development. Decent energy efficiency.

Happy with the house overall

Happy with the house overall, the garden however was on a 90degree incline so not really suitable for a family with young children, however after levelling it ourselves we are now happy with this! There are pot holes and some unfinished paths and roads that need to be finishing on the lower finished end of the site. Overall though, happy with the site.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The site is located in a quiet idilic setting. Closeby however to local ammenities.

What is the best feature of your home:

The garden - however we did this ourselves changing it from a 90 degree downhill garden, to a flat levelled one.
