A terrible company, not recommended for anyone to purchase.

We experienced severe leakage in the bathroom recently, and our paint job for our bath has not yet been completed for six months. Terrible service with no efficiency. On the front garden, we expected to have lush grass, only to be greeted with bare seeds and moss.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is fine. But the public greenery space is poor, with a incomplete constructing and a disappointing scenery of dirt and weeds.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish to have known that the mud underneath our grass is actually layers of construction waste. Would be better to have choose the bare dirt option than already made patches of grass.

What is the best feature of your home:

Honestly the place with not much problems are the front garden, but yet still covered in moss and weeds, not grass.

Don’t bother, save your money and go with a company that actually cares !!! I can not think of enough words to tell you how to avoid this company. They will build anywhere to make a profit for their greedy company or their people who work for them so they get their bonus !!!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Greedy developers who just wants to make a profit, no consideration around the people they build around or even the safety of others !!! Avoid at all costs

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They just don’t care about anyone but anyone except them or making money

What is the best feature of your home:

Nothing , I hate everything about it. Greedy Greedy developers who just want to make a profit and employees that want to earn a bonus from other people’s misery

Crest don’t care. No response from our emails and calls. What is going on with crest, don’t buy their Homes they do not care. Thinking of getting a group of owners together and suing this builder. We had our neighbours roof tiles fall off and hit one of our cars and crest did nothing. Pretty sure our neighbour is still waiting for them to fix this also.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Whiteley centre is brilliant. We love the area just not the builder crest Nicholson. They don’t care and are not returning our calls or emails. We have faults they are not Being resolved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I didn’t buy a crest home. My en-suite still broken been easy 2-3 months

What is the best feature of your home:

The space is great and the house does flow well. The lack of drainage in the garden helps with the swimming pool feature crest forgot to mention to us before purchase.

Bellway Is A Joke - Do Not Buy

Since May I have a rusty hob and splash back, a hole in the backdoor letting in cold to the lounge, an insecure front door, a scratched kitchen cupboard and a cupboard off which fell off and nearly broke my foot all since May. The company is a joke they do not care. My house is worth 440,000 on paper zero in reality. Do not listen to the promise. I have workers and trades on site still that makes it worse.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Zero aftercare. Once you move in you will be left. There is no compassion, care to rectify bad work.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The diabolical customer services and after care is shocking.

What is the best feature of your home:

The size of the bedrooms. The size of the lounge

Great building, great community of residents

The Essex Brewery, E17

Kitchens and bathrooms are of a good spec and both ventilate easily. The floors are Amtico and both wear and clean well. Airvents in the ceilings keep dust to a minimum and help ventilate at night in the summer. Concierges are available 8am to 8pm which is excellent for getting deliveries. Two lifts in my section of the development so easy access for prams/wheelchairs.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Transport options are excellent: tow overground stations and two underground stations in close walking distance plus a good selection of bus routes. We’re also able to get to Stanstead Airport really easily from Tottenham Hale. Loads of great restaurants (two at the bottom of the building itself) within walking distance and delivery services come from as far as Stratford. Really close to the Wetlands/Hackney Marshes and to local parks.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Service charge took a little figuring-out but we’ve been here three years and it’s all sorted now - not something a new occupant would need to worry about.

What is the best feature of your home:

For the location, it’s surprisingly quiet when the windows are closed. There’s a great community feeling in the building, lots of people happy to help each other out.
