Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are in a village so limited number of shops. Excellent butchers and small premier shop. Bus transport is not reliable. The development is quiet and good council for bin collection. Only problem with constant delivery vans.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We weren't aware that a dishwasher wasn't part of the kitchen deal. Wise to check the white goods being included.

What is the best feature of your home:

The position, backing onto open fields with clear views across the countryside

Overall a peaceful place to stay

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very convenient, only a few minutes each way to a supermarket, store or the town centre itself. While being close to these it remains quite and peaceful at all hours. Very nice place to stay

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been very quick to get contractors arranged and attending. Only suffering minor issues like a faulty smoke alarm and light fixture.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My only complaint if any, was that the walk around video wasn't as accurate as the actual property. Though the bits missing are very minor, it would have been nice to know about them before hand, so it could be arranged and resolved quickly

Manager response

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your wonderful review and for recommending Simple Life as your landlord! We welcome your feedback on our property videos - if you could inform us of what wasn't as expected at slmarketing@simplelifehomes.com. Our videos are taken of the property types which we have across our portfolio, so whilst it won't be the specific plot and on some occassions the spec may vary slightly, the layout of the house should be the same.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the serenity and the beautiful gardens around to take picture, close to bus stops and hospital.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Respond was swift but still disappointed that still goes back to square 1

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing really.. A good place to stay and grateful it’s close to my bus stop as I has regrets thinking I would have to walk like 20mins only to find a short cut of 10mins through the hospital

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s has a lot of green and playgrounds for kids. Street is quiet although we don’t really know our neighbours

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have but are very slow to sort them out. We have a recurrent leak with our boiler which was raised in December and forgotten about

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lack of services and lack of facilities in general. Unlike other developments Marham park does not even have a post box !!
