Overall I am happy with my purchase but it has only been a few days since I got my keys. Everything seems to be as it should. The property is a good size and meets all my needs for me and my family. The layout is of a good and acceptable standard and the garden is a reasonable size.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The range of local facilities is quite good. Parking is adequate and traffic noise is minimal.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Reported a few defeats but they will be attended to in due course.

It's a bit of a pain trying to drive onto the estate while the road works/builders are still working on the only site access main road, another site access would have been easier. A play park for the children would be much safer than kids playing near roads/building site. I just would have preferred a play park closer for children I currently walk over to the Taylor wimpy estate as they have build a play park on that site. I love the house styles and varation. I have a 4 bed and love the prices of the homes as well as the ability to get a 4 bed shared home is very rare so we moved from Essex due to this. I have a list of snags that still needs to be addressed since the day we moved in but I'm due to have our 1 year inspection next week to which I will address that with them again. I'm overall 90% happy as a whole only reason I can't give 100% is lack of play park for childen and building of roads that need 24/7 access having to que sometimes to leave/enter site.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area of the site location is good aswell as beautiful views at the back of the site. I am able to walk to the local school so less driving. I am based at a part of the road that is a dead end so there for I don't get as much traffic thankfully. A play park closer on the site for the children would be much safer than kids playing near roads/building site, or having to walk so far to play in a park. There has been problems regarding bin collection due to the only site access having the roads built. There is a carpark/parking space for most houses but small for some houses so cars have to park on road. Local shops we have co-op which I have used which is fine. I haven't been able to use the public transport as of yet due to my only car use is to work in Bury st edmunds however I work unsociable hours.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have to report our "snags" or any issues threw clarion so unsure if our issues have even been raised with building management but at this current time nothing has been addressed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Tips to new neighbours would be: don't listen to everything negative you hear as people literally complain about everything, walk around look at the area get a feel for the site as a whole. If you have children then be prepared to walk far for a play park.

We are very happy with our house ( that's why we buy this house ) we had few faults in the house but developer are solved the problem. Still few faults but not a big deal I hope they will finalise very soon. When we contact ( clarion ) them developer are very care about the faults and quick response ans solve faults.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are leaving here about 7 months now and we love to be here all my family are very happy. We not really have a complaint to be honest but sometimes I can see some car speed up on the street and I can see lots of cars on the street ( not in their parking spaces) but overall everything's going very well for me and my family.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes we did have raised few issues about house but they are responded quickly and solved the issue

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My personal wish is need more shops and small business ( such a restaurant take away)

I can't comment on property management, as a shared owner I've taken that on myself. There seems to be regular trimming of open spaces though so I hope that continues. Design is fine, however I'd be interested to find out how they managed to get non-part M compliant approaches cleared on a couple of plots. I'm looking forward to seeing the public open space develop as a safe place to take the kids to play.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great for walking to school, the train station is really handy but the trains don't run very late. Being close to the A14 and a quick route to Norwich is really handy. Cycling at Thetford isn't too far away. Local coop is ok if desperate, range of supermarket options within 10miles. No fast food delivery available at all. Bin collections have been sporadic, the same goes for post, we have received first class post that has taken a month to arrive.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

One, I've given up on the others and sorted myself

Things might not be as you expect, pipes in odd places, switches missing switches. Ask before you do anything

We loved how clean everything looked. Neat rows of beautiful houses. A tad tight on parking. I love how our front grass gets cut and we don’t have to worry about it. The down side is we can not replant with plants we want rather then boring green bushes. But it’s a minor. We were a bit worried about the rumours that you can hear your neighbours like they are in your house. But a week in now and we haven’t heard anything! We’ll pleased!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Fantastic big village with beautiful country walks Everything you need, easy access to A14. Good commute (train too) to Cambridge. Parking near house a bit tight for a bigger car, but we knew that before we bought it. One down side for us is we can hear traffic from A14 at night. But we moved here from rural area. If you are coming from a town, don’t think it would cause any problems. We’ll get used to it ?

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Reported the leak in gutters. Waiting for repairs. No complaints, just straight promise to fix that.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We can’t hear our neighbours! We were a bit worried, especially after so many horrible stories about new builds. But no, nothing! We’ll pleased.
