The development is very nice, there are only a few apartments on each floor and they are sound proofed well. When looking around i played very loud music in the next door apartment and it could not be heard at all. In terms of management my purchase was shared ownership so I have to go through legal and general affordable homes and so far this has not been great. It's taken 2 months so far to fix a defect in the kitchen and even really big problems like no water from the sink took them a week to send a plumber. Also for electrical issues before they will send an electrician (because sending one "costs them money") you have to try replacing light bulbs first, "just in case" it's the bulb at fault even if the issue you are reporting is clearly not a blown bulb! Oh and you have to buy and get the bulbs as well, which they don't refund you for when swapping them doesn't solve anything! Also you need their 'permission' for every tiny thing, even getting an extra key and the process for this is not quick or straightforward. But this is the fault of l&g and not St James (the developer).

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Transport is very good, two separate tube lines right outside the building. Westfield shopping is also right next door with shops, restaurants and fast food chains. Zone 2 so only 15 mins by tube to oxford circus.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Other buildings on the site are still being built, so from 8am mon - sat its very noisy, but this is only temporary (although it will be a couple of years) until they are finished.

What is the best feature of your home:

The location. Instant access to two tube lines, and a massive shopping centre next door. Supermarket on yhe ground floor of the building.

Appreciate all the hard work that has been put into the development to make it as amazing, friendly and enjoyable to live in

This has been the most beautiful home I have made, the space I have is luxury, from storage to room sizes I have been happily surprised with all the hidden spaces and love the outdoor facilities. Unfortunately I have had some issues with the kitchen worktops as has a few of my neighbours such as swelling, other than that I’m happy and comfortable and always entertained by the events thrown by management

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

As I live in an upcoming area it can get a bit noisy during the day when building work is happening but thankfully my doors and windows muffle that out. We have impeccable cleanliness in the area such as bin shed being cleaned, lifts, stairs and hall are all cleaned daily. There is no parking available which is very unfortunate otherwise I will have to pay quite an extortionate amount by private owners to rent their space. There are always events to attend that White City living make fun and interactive for myself and my family to enjoy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There isn’t many parking areas local other than Westfield. A lot of pets in the areas especially dogs but overall a family friendly area

What is the best feature of your home:

The beautiful view from my balcony, the fountains to play in with my children outside and the amazing concierge downstairs

The design and aesthetics are modern. Large outdoor spaces and loads of green. There are great views from all areas. There are fountains and areas to sit outside in peace. Loads of walking ways which are not narrow and tight. Many different ways to access the development

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I believe the development is amazing. Safe and the people who live within are friendly. The conciegre team our helpful and all queries are answered quickly. The development is close to underground stations and westfield

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew more about social events within the area

What is the best feature of your home:

The view from the balcony is amazing. The layout of the apartment is modern and uses space very well

Poor isolating walls. No cooling system. Not a number one quality of double glaze window. Nice design. Spacious storage. Great idea about utility room. Great balcony. Nice view almost from the south it’s uninterrupted , the concierge has got the power to remove offenders and young people who comes from local area and makes noise and smokes weeds , but they are so easy with these guys

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

No parking , noise pollution from 2 different tube stations , close to the main road ( siren noise ) Construction site noise pollution , no cooling system , poor isolating wall ( so hot in summer ). Good concierge staff members. Very good maintenance. Close to very good public transport hub

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The lady Trisha from the customer care almost promptly does action on most of the requests which are under her control

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noise pollution in the area and also bad isolation system were unknown to me before moving in. Also the parking is a must which costs me lots of money to park in Westfield car park

Alot of local amenities around especially with Westfield nearby

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bills. I didn't realise the bills would add so much to the rent

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I wish the rooms were a bit bigger and cheaper rent but that's with anywhere in London.
