The flats are great, there spacious, modern and affordable

The management of the buildings themselves could be a lot better. The building has minimal security as the electric fob doors constantly get broken and take months to fix and the repairs take a very long time. When contacted about continuous issues they state that they will charge if it happens again even if this issue is out of tenants control

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The flats are great, there spacious, modern and affordable. There close to many local schools and shops and right next to many forms of public transport.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lands lords themselves seem reluctant to help when expressing concerns for safety etc strange people stealing parcels etc however the call handlers and staff all seem very lovely and quick to help where they can

What is the best feature of your home:

The big bedrooms. It allows my son and ourselves to have room for essentials and extra stuff we may like to have as luxuries

Amazing location

Design is great, lovely gardens and the development looks really nice. The gym is massive and has great equipment in. Building and property management needs to improve. Reporting snagging is difficult due to the companies reluctance to sort problems. If this was better then it would be 5 stars.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: amazing location and beautiful looking flats (inside and out). Bad: the company! Poor communication and very rude customer service

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The poor customer service of the developer and how hard it would be to fix anything that is wrong.

What is the best feature of your home:

Location is amazing, size of property is really impressive and the layout is great too.

Disaster

Jimmy mac (Tenant)

No parking for visits from friends and family Building shakes from triains Crime, stealing mopeds, push bikes, drug dealing, street robberys, burglary Poor soundproofing can here stomping and kids jumping around in adjacent flats Poor built property

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Poor designed park with screaming kids too close to peoples homes. I would think twice about buying a property here

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Who ever designed the layout of the development has to give there head a shake. Let's place a kids play area right next to peoples homes and bedrooms. Lots of social housing kids aloud to run riot screaming and shouting at the top of there little voices and the parents just seem to watch and laugh more concerned about rolling fags and dumping there junk food wrapping in the bushes.

What is the best feature of your home:

Green area location is good for travel shame about the anti social housing

Absolutely AWFUL company

Tim J (Owner)

Aug 2023

This development is appalling. All the huge patio windows are having to be removed as no insulation. The whole building was inspected by Fire Brigade, it was not fire retardant. The lift keeps breaking but the ‘help’ button connects to nobody. The gardens are like a jungle despite paying up front for gardeners. The gym is not open, 15 months after being charged monthly for it. There are so many issues. The police are here on a daily basis. Garage doors - wires cut, cars broken into. Bicycles stolen from ‘secure’ place. Scaffolding keeps falling into the children’s play area - it’s a dreadful mess and plenty more wrong with it.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

One parking space per apartment. No visitor parking, no off street parking. The company employed to issue parking tickets are lightning quick

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known how shockingly poor and shoddy this company is. From the builders who throw their rubbish into the internal road, to the management who take zero responsibility for anything. They are absolutely horrible to deal with. Expect a fight on your hands with CN, I’ve never experienced anything like it with a new build, and I’ve owned several previously.

What is the best feature of your home:

Absolutely nothing. Awaiting the utter turbulence that neighbours have had when faults are ‘rectified’. Crest Nicholson expect owners to move out to hotels at their own cost, leaving their homes insecure with no doors intact!

Customer Service Improving

Anon (Owner)

Nov 2022

These blocks are nicely designed with a central communal area encouraging neighbours to meet each other. I have met many decent and responsible leaseholders and tenants who support each other and help to maintain standards such as recycling and waste disposal. Things are improving slowly but a way to go yet.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Since my last review I wanted to add a comment that the improvements to security are slowly being responded to. The garden area in Somers House still has a central large patch of concrete which looks strange like it is unfinished. Ground floor still exposed with no doors so anyone can walk in there. We are assured parking permits will be issued when Crest Nicholson hand over to A2dominion Management Company after completion of development so a long time away, however they are as helpful as possible on this matter and sympathetic to individuals. A2dominion have not yet registered the leaseholders and calling them will do no good. Any matters should be dealt with by CN.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

See above. CN are the developers and are responding to issues, going the extra mile on occasion.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is an issue but we need to see if that improves.
