Great pet-friendly apartment complex

We stayed here for a few months before moving country. Our experience was overall positive. The staff are friendly and attentive, the property is pet-friendly, and the interiors are modern and high quality. The property is also secure with great parking facilities. It is however in the middle no nowhere (yes even in London) so supermarkets, public transport, restaurants, are quite far away so you need a bike or a car. It would be great to have some on-site facilities such as a basic shop, gym, cinema, etc.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: Car parking, modern high quality interiors, pet-friendly, secure. Bad: No facilities on-site, eg gym, shop, etc. Public transport quite far away. No services nearby, eg supermarket, restaurants, etc. Main road hard to cross.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes. From enquiry to booking and throughout our stay, the building management were always very attentive and responded quickly to any issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It’s fine for short stays of a few months. Longer than that you probably want somewhere with more activities and facilities nearby.

Not as expected unfortunately

The layout of my apartment is good however when i moved in over a year ago now there was a broken window a damaged floor, leaks and till this day these have not been fixed or “fixed” by welding the window shut so now it can’t open which took me a year. So the management of the building is terrible and actually the worst i have ever been in. I have also had packages stolen and there is never anyone in the office. When you call Vonder you also cant get through not even the emergency line when my fire alarm went off at 5am. It took me 3 hours to get a hold of someone. If that wasn’t bad enough I had bills included in my contract so if you go over the normal usage you pay that which makes sense. However they have now sent me a bill for all of last year saying i went over the limit. I completed that contract so its very odd that they would not let you know for an entire year and then give me a week to pay it. I have reached out to them and of course no reply. Its been 3 days now. I don't like writing bad reviews but this is simply too much.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is nice despite being right by a busy road you do not get disturbed by too much noise and there are nice parks and walking areas around as well as canals.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

no, I still have leaks and my window was not fixed for a year meaning i had to put the heating higher then usual which they are now trying to bill me for. In addition to this summer is coming and i now can’t open it as they “fixed it”

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

that they would send me a bill for electricity for all of 2022 and till March 2023 only 3 days ago with no prior warning and no meter readings available

Well presented flats with a high price to pay/Ideal for short stays

It's a nice complex of flats which are well maintained in good condition. Wooden floor with underneath heating adjustable to you preference. Hot water 24/7. you can request the flat furnished or unfurnished. Noise level is relatively low. Really warm throughout winter, it can get hot during summer (of course 2022 was an extreme scenario). Covered parking which is charged extra. Also, bike racks where you can leave your bike protected from the elements. Management is attentive, cleaning the facilities on regular basis and sending informative emails regarding any maintenance. However, renewal is coming with a big jump on renting price, this time without including any bills (initially all inclusive) having just to pay separately council tax.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a big Tesco Extra which is 7 minutes walk. A couple of restaurants nearby but nothing fancy that will attract people. The closest pubs are approximately 10-15 minutes walk towards Brentford. Sky studios are in close proximity to Tesco. Heathrow is 20mins away by car or 30 minutes with a combination of bus and tube. Only one bus (H91) available heading towards Hammersmith through Chiswick. Tube station (Osterley or Boston Manor) 20minutes walk. Syon Lane Train Station just 7 minutes walk, with trains every 30 minutes towards Waterloo.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building has showcased good response time regarding a few issues that might come up.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was told that a gym (free to use) will open at the end of 2021. October 2022 and that still hasn't come into effect, therefore missing one of the important perks.

The design of the room is fair enough but still got many things can be improved. And the facilities is not very good as the property management claim that it’s comes with a gym room and club house before we rent the flat but after the gym room is closed all the time.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good thing is a Tesco Extra within around 10 mins walk which we thought it’s convenience. However the bad thing is there aren’t many restaurants nearby and we have to take 20mins bus to go to Centre if we would like to eat outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management reply the email quickly and they try to fix the problem as soon as possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have knew more about the location and the transportation before I moved in.

Great all inclusive fully equipped flats, good layouts and decent space. Easy access, bike storage facility. Can feel isolated without a car, no local shops close by. Community amenities being built. Very nice areas to explore within 30mins walk. Management team is responsive and helpful.

Good: Great fully equipped flats, good layouts and decent space. Easy access, bike storage facility. Management team is responsive and helpful. Bad: Can feel isolated without a car, no local shops close by. Far from central London. Some tenants can be noisy, having parties etc

Responsive, efficient and solving any issues that arise

There have been cases of noisy parties due to some student tenants
