This is an nice area with good views over Riber castle. We are close to the town facilities - v good

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Numerous problems with the property in terms of plumbing and build quality but these have been addressed.

Check for leaks!

The location is absolutely perfect with outstanding views. It’s easy to walk into Matlock town centre within 10 minutes with plenty of shops and bars/ restaurants to choose from. It’s generally very quiet and the neighbours are friendly and helpful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes. We had a problem with one of the rings on the hob and this issue was sorted out extremely quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have redecorated the kitchen before moving in as the paint is very thin.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great places to live, over spaces and local amenities all in walking a driving distance. No bad aspects, we absolutely love it!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have sorted out any issues or problems within the house internal and externally too, we haven’t needed to wait until our 6 month report.

Ensure to do a thorough handover over with WD.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good views from most properties. Quiet location, but close to town centre and public transport links. Close to open countryside. Satisfactory range of shops in town, but not great. Excellent range of pubs, bars etc. around town.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There have been several faults, but all were dealt with by the developers, in a sensible and conscientious manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The amount of dust raised during construction work, took a year for development to settle down!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have raised the issue over who is responsible for the grit bins ie who refills them, we are getting closer to winter and still have empty grit bins wich will be a serious issue again.

Haven't had much communication with our landlord but hopfully there easy to contact and helpful if we ever need them
