After being here a few years I still really like the design of my house and the size of the rooms. The development is really starting to expand now all the current houses are sold. I'm out of my two year warrant period with Lovells but since all the original snagging was sorted I've not really had any problems with the house since

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A good choice of local shops nearby as well as Bransholme Centre only being 10 mins away and Holderness Road and Kingswood aren't much further so overall a pretty good location to be in. Cars parked on the street can still be a problem from time to time but I think that's the same in a lot of places and it's never been that much of an issue around here

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd known about the childrens home before I bought as it was never on any of the origianal plans and Lovells failed to make any buyers aware of it

The size of the rooms and the overall layout of the property

The design of the site feels rushed towards the back-end of the third phase. It’s almost as if it was designed as a ‘that’ll do’ rather than being thought out. For example gardens in the third phase are much smaller than the previous. Once you’ve been in your property for a year or so the builder is a lot slower to deal with issues. We’ve had the same issues dealt with on multiple occasions.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops are nearby, within 10 minutes walk and there a two local pubs, both within five minutes walk. Traffic noise isn’t an issue as most of the houses are far enough away from the main road.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Know that the fences are only 3ft so it’s not very private at all. The builder won’t install 6ft so that cost will fall to the buyer.

What is the best feature of your home:

We have an open plan design and we love it. It gives us light and freedom throughout the whole downstairs.

Love my house and the plot apart from an issue with the garden slopping so the rain water becomes a problem as it nearly gets to my door and that worries me Incase it creeps in. However I love how spacious the house is and I do love my garden, the walls and the parking. Everything is spot on apart from the rain water problem to be fair

No real noise apart from the home opposite my house. It's a children's home. But struggle to sleep sometimes due to the disturbance but apart from that. Don't have any issues

Love the kitchen and great size bedrooms. Very spacious house

I love the house, highly dislike the use of vulcan windows. This company are an absolute joke. It took them 18 months and 15 visits to fix my patio doors which are STILL not how I would of left them. However i gave up on them in the end. Overall happy with the rest of the house and development and do not plan on moving.

good - already from the area, lots of local amenities in short distance. bad - very noisy on a main road.

not to buy their terrible turf, as this has now got an leather jacket infestation.

open plan kitchen, diner, and living room and en suite.

I love the aspect of my south facing garden although the fences in the garden are too small so you don’t get any privacy from your neighbours. The houses being built behind are too close also so it would be better for the house to be on a different angle

Good aspects is living close to all everything we need and close to a nice park, anti social behaviour is a problem

I wish I would’ve known how long the building would be taking behind us and how close they’re

Best feature is the big bedrooms as everyone says new builds are small
