Great place to live

The buildings are very well built and are aesthetically pleasing. There is a lovely park that has been built at the end of the estate which will be great for woodland dog walks and for children to play safely nearby. There is going to be a really good sporting facility on-site too

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The centre of Chichester is only a 25 minute walk away, which saves time trying to park and travel and is really easy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How long the development of the entire estate would take

What is the best feature of your home:

Open plan living and dining area makes it a sleek design

Disappointed

Disappointing. They promised us a shop and proper play parks which we’ve been paying for since moving in and they’re still not built or functional. They don’t update us with progress. The construction noise has been going on since I moved in. Not peaceful

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Raised and more found. They only gave me a 6 months defect period

Overall a great place to live

Love everything about the location and standard of the site. Contractor is very considerate and polite. We did have issues with a door but this was finally sorted by Remus. Building is light and airy and very cheap to heat due to fantastic standard of insulation and windows

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Wow Chichester is a great place to live with it's lakes, cathedral, pubs and a sendless cafes and a marine

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes but very slow to fix a door that was broken for over a year

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bridges need to be built as per promised schedule to the retail park

Still waiting for a single facility to be completed!

Having lived here for over 2 years we have only seen the developer build more houses. The parks aren't open, no crossings over the A27 are in place, no community centre, no shops and no idea when any of this will be completed. The management company for our block are worse than useless and I've even contacted our MP to get help. Consider buying in Shopwyke lakes when/if the developer finishes any facilities, until then it's best avoided.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Chichester has some really nice shops, bars and restaurants. Can be busy with traffic but overall a good place to live. Goodwood motor circuit, house and horse racing are excellent. Beautiful countryside and beaches nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They only respond with lies. Our door has been broken since August 2020.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have been nice to know the management company do nothing.

The design of the building is great, well lit and you feel safe in the car park. The building and property management leave a lot to be desired, 18 months and counting to fix a communal door which is quite frankly a disgrace. The inside of the block is spotless and we have heated corridors which is a plus

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A great place to live, very friendly residents and a good community feel. Bin collection is always on time, minimal traffic noise and it's whisper quiet in the evening

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No, extremely poor service on getting a door fixed with excuses ranging from COVID to Brexit to Ukraine to insurance. Come guys you are better than this

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flats are incredibly well insulated and mine has never dropped below 18 !!!!
