Lovely sounding open walking grounds

Lovely development but not suitable for all unfortunately lovely over look of places sounding few changes would be great lot of people it's very big place cane hill lot of spirit around here be the old mental hospital very overwhelming I would never of moved here if I knew it was mental health hospital

It;s the people and grounds that have made the experience not great but have a lovely property me and my family have lived in

Helpful local parks food restaurant ect lovely too look at

Residents and wildlife I live next to open fields alley is very dark at night

Excellent environment to raise children, away from main traffic. Plenty of space for short walks And exercise. 10mins away from Coulsdon Town where the shops are. New bus route for transport and nearby train stations. Farthing Downs short drive/ 20mins walk with lovely views.

Children playgrounds, exercise trail, coffee shop to be opened, bus route

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally yes but not always as forthcoming with providing feedback and outcome with more complex queries

Wish I’d been able to see the surrounding structures before purchasing

Great area but poor build quality

The building design and the surrounding environment are great but the local facilities such as children play area and pathway needs improvement. It took a while for the management company and the developer to fix broken lights and address the snags inside the property etc.

Local amenities are great, a variety of shops and restaurant and walking distance to the station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Better soundproofing ceiling. I can hear the upstairs footsteps quite clearly and sometimes it could be quite irritating when they are doing exercises or moving furniture around.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The amount of snags inside the property. If you are buying through the housing association then you can carry out a snagging check on your property.

There are no local facilities within our development, which makes it longer for us to walk to the gym, local transport such as train stations and buses. We think that the outside of the developments is nice to look at and very friendly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are no walking distance bus routes for the people who live within this area and don't drive, which is bad as it would take them longer to do their shopping. We love how the woldlife and developments are well groomed and look natural.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have known there was no buses within the area.

The landlord is not the best

The community and kids are strong. The private tenants and housing association are separate so the different communities clash sometimes. The landlord don’t have communication and there are a lot of maintenance issues.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like the park to take the kids out there and the fields so that the cats can run around. Racism within the community is bad and the neighbours bay is in the way of mine.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the parking bays weren’t in the right place so I can’t park in my space.
