The house is great. Very few snags we're found. We were told the garden was next to flat and it is at quite a steep slope so that is very disappointing. But we have no issues with the quality of the house structure itself. The paint used to paint the interiors white is incredibly cheap though and wipes away if you wipe the walls

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Area is great. Lots of local shops and areas to walk the dog. Bad thing is the amount of works still going on around our house...such as street lights have only just been installed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The garden gradient as the slope is hard to place furniture etc on

What is the best feature of your home:

Our kitchen is our favourite room in our house followed by the main bathroom

The property we have suits our needs very well. We have had a few minor issues with various fixtures tight windows and doors etc these have been resolved very quickly by the very friendly on site staff. One issue that has concerned us was a leak from our on suite shower. Because the shower equipment, the tiling people etc are all sub contractors the various stages of resolving the issue has taken a considerable length of time. We haven’t actually complained in any way but have needed to to keep contacting customer services to keep things moving. The duration being from late November but finally resolved ?? last Monday 13/March. ALL STAFF involved with any issues we have had however have been very friendly and caring In helping to resolving our issues. I would rate everyone we have met who represents the company as five star.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Reasonable cross section of shops in the area. Transport links reasonable Sheffield Worksop Rotherham Doncaster all an acceptable commute away. We are on a still active ongoing building estate but the noise and road disturbance is kept to a minimum by the site management the road is cleaned repeatedly throughout each day. Bin collection is straightforward and reliable. No signs of anti social behaviour. Reasonable access to food outlets all a short drive away. One local well stocked shop a short walk from our house.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The landscaping of the property we feel is very good however the perimeter of the front garden has been planted with a series of Beech hedging plants. These in our opinion are the wrong product for the short border that they will cover. We feel a more suitable hedging for compact growth of perhaps 3-4 foot would have been better. We have walked around neighbouring estates and looked at typical beech hedging and so far without exception all are forming hedges of over 6 foot in height. Our kitchen area is very spacious we feel that part of the installation should have included just a few more cupboards along a long bare wall. We feel this omission was just a little about penny pinching as apposition to kitchen styling. We have sourced the same cupboards as the installed ones and had the fitted. They enhance the kitchen so much and look as if they should have always been there.

What is the best feature of your home:

The property suites us very well. It appears to be reasonably well built and we feel very comfortable here.
