Exceptional value for central London

Very good value considering the location. A lot of construction nearby but I never hear any noise on floor 10. Concierge are excellent and I've never had any issues with deliveries plus they are very responsive whenever there's been an issue in the flat. The main downsides are firstly that the lifts are frequently not working so you're left waiting a while with a crowd of other people for the single functioning lift. Secondly, it gets very hot in summer. For a building with this much glass it's kind of crazy they didn't build in any AC.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's a very busy area which I like as it always feel safe walking home at night. The building is literally right across the road from the tube station on Bakerloo and Northern lines, as well as the train station for Thameslink. The area is newly developed so there isn't masses of personality but there are a couple of decent cafes I like to work from. In terms of shopping, there is very little so I normally travel into central for this.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lift situation isn't ideal but had I known about it, it would not have put me off moving in (nor should it put off anyone else!)

What is the best feature of your home:

The views! I'm looking south, so not towards central, but still the view is incredible as it's totally unobstructed and you can see to the edges of London (and I'm only on floor 10).

Love everything about Strata, lovely place to live

Views are amazing, we’re on the 31st floor and see iconic landmarks such as St Paul’s and London Eye. High enough away from the ground, that noise levels are minimal. Beautifully kitted out Apartments and tastefullly designed. Very central location in zone 1, close to shops and transport, plus improving all the time with significant regeneration happening in the area

I've lived in Strata for a few years now and there is no better location in London! Everything is within an easy walk or short tube / bus ride. The building has a lively and active residents association with a welcoming atmosphere.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is still evolving. Go away for two weeks and a new coffee shop or restaurant will have opened!

Transport is good here it's close to buses, trains and tube lines, the Northern and baker look is just around the corner. Shopping here is brilliant, there is a shopping centre, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The view The location is great, it's near to the train and tube station and buses. The lift is bad, it breaks a lot and its small there is only 1 lift for 300 plus rooms.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd known about the lift.

Noisy, modern, central

Jessica (Tenant)

I like being so central I don't think it's too bad it's obviously expensive but it's expected for where we are and it is in London, the people here are of a higher class so not very talkative and there's a lot of Chinese students too, the transport links are great and there's a shopping centre across the road so everything is in an arms reach,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It can get really noisy here even living on higher floors, thespecially noise still carries especially the ambulances later at night.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It's really noisy here
