Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are plenty of green spaces and parks to enjoy and for the most part it's a calm area. The public transport links are very good and makes commuting into London easy for us. Now with LIDL, shopping is easier, but there are not a lot of shops at walking distance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Out landlord and the estate agents have been very responsive. Never had any issues at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think all was covered, and there were not big surprises. This is the first time we live on a flat and I can say that all was better than I actually expected.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on the development is great. It’s very serene and peaceful. A diverse range of shops and services are available with a 3 min walk- dentist, pharmacy, nail salon, opticians, supermarket, police station, doctors, gym with a newly built pool etc. We couldn’t ask for me. The commute to London is great. Living in South Oxhey itself is great despite the negative reviews. Community members are very welcoming.

I was worried about moving to South Oxhey. However, I wish I had known it’s a great area with lovely residents. I have experienced no issues and the so called reputation is an urban legend.

The balcony size. It’s not bad but can always be bigger

Very conviniently located, with shops and train station within short walking distance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how thin the walls are!! I can hear the neighbours footsteps and conversations sometimes!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area I have noticed is developing a lot, Good transport facilities -its a short walk to the over ground station, good local shops-Nisa/tesco, post office & pharmacy all within walking distance. Although it would be nice to have more bar/restaurants & local cafes.

It would be nice to have virtual view - as we are buying off-plan. Difficult to imagine.

Probably, the layout of my kitchen as I didn't have much of a choice back when I was buying.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like the fact that overground is very close to the area adding convenience for travelling. In addition, there is lots of green, a leisure centre, a massive park in close proximity and children’s playground. Last but not least, convenient shops and supermarkets add value to the area.

How nice it feels to live in a brand new home.

Position of some electrical sockets in the apartment walls.
