The local area offers a diverse range of shops and restaurants, providing quality choices for residents. Bars contribute to a lively atmosphere. Open spaces, including parks, add a touch of greenery. Transport links are generally convenient, although occasional delays occur. Living on my street involves limited parking challenges, efficient bin collections, and minimal anti-social behavior. Traffic noise is noticeable but not overwhelming. Overall, it's a balanced blend of amenities with minor transportation and noise considerations.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive to the problems or issues I've raised. They demonstrate a proactive approach, addressing concerns promptly and efficiently. Communication is effective, and resolutions are implemented in a timely manner. Overall, I appreciate the attentiveness and effectiveness of the building management in handling and resolving any issues that have arisen.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before moving in, I wish I had known more about the local noise levels during specific times, as it can vary. While viewing, it's challenging to gauge the day-to-day sounds. This insight would have helped me better prepare for potential disruptions. My tip for new neighbors is to explore the neighborhood during different times to understand the ambient noise levels and daily rhythms. It's a valuable aspect that goes beyond the initial viewing experience.

There is nowhere for young children to play which is awful for those who live here and visiting grandchildren. If you have limited mobility you cannot use a mobility scooter to even get to a shop as the short route is steep, muddy and difficult for able bodied people to use. The only other way is via very busy main roads which is a 2 mile journey each way

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is great, just 10 minutes walk and we are in the middle of an historic market town. 5 minutes in the other direction is the local retail park and on top of that, there is beautiful countryside with miles and miles of footpaths and bridleways which are part of T50. Also just 10 minutes drive of the famous Ironbridge Gorge. The local council are very responsive to reports of any fly tipping/graffiti and are usually on site with 24 hours. On the whole, all very good. The down side to our estate? The parking is diabolical. 2 bed houses have 1 space 3 bed houses have 2 spaces, there is no where for visitors to park and thi is such a shame.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The garden is terrible due to no apparent drainage and land management cave once, threw grass seed down which rotted..and never sorted the drainage.

If the garden was decent and we had ample parking, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to move to Bluebell Manor

Hello Mr E Thank you for your review of Bluebell Manor. Following your review, we have tried to identify your records and we believe we have been able to do so based on the information available to us. We can see that the housebuilder undertook an inspection of your garden and then revisited in the Spring to rejuvenate the lawn by adding top soil and seed. As of this point we haven’t had another issue raised regarding your garden. If you continue to have problems, please raise this on the maintenance reporting tool or call customer care so we can re-open and investigate this for you. Please note however, that during a tenancy residents are expected to maintain and care for their garden this includes cyclical aerating and seeding where needed to ensure the grass is kept in the best condition. We’re sorry you’re finding car parking difficult. The number of car parking spaces differs by property and plot throughout the development but this will have been communicated when applying for your plot. There should also be roadside parking available for visitors or guests. We’re sorry for any inconvenience regarding any roads/pavements that are showing mud/dust/debris. This is made worse when it is bad weather but is unfortunately unavoidable when construction work isn’t complete. Some areas of the development are yet to have their roads topped by the housebuilder. We continue to chase this, which should make this situation much better. We’re pleased to hear that you love the location of Bluebell Manor and that it is convenient for you. The design of the two bed property is good lots of storage too. I never thought I would like the open plan of the downstairs but it works well and as it’s so modern and bright it gives the appearance of being larger. The front garden areas are attended to regularly and the boiler is serviced annually.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great it’s really close to Wellington retail park and access to the M54. There is traffic noise if I’m in the garden however the house is well soundproof, bin collections are regular parking can be a problem as the two bed properties only have one car parking space

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had no issues to date but are sent regular updates and was emailed additional information when the temperature dropped last winter with regards to turning off outside tap

I was made aware of all rules and regulations of renting the property before I moved in

Design of our house is fantastic. Plenty of space in all rooms. Two of our rooms are spacious doubles and master bedroom has built in wardrobes. Kitchen/diner is a fab space as is the living room. Plenty of windows which means lots of light in our home and all amenities work brilliantly.

Shops, bars, schools around and all our neighbours in the area are lovely. Great parking and no traffic noise.

Any requests we have get dealt with quickly and efficiently

Wish we’d known that the road we live on gets slippy in winter (it’s on a slight incline)

Living in my local area has several wonderful aspects. Firstly, the community here is incredibly tight-knit, making it easy to build lasting friendships and connections.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responsive and proactive; addressed concerns effectively.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is the frequency and duration of construction projects in the area. While the neighborhood appeared peaceful during my initial visits, I later discovered that there were ongoing infrastructure developments nearby. The noise and disruption caused by construction activities sometimes affected the tranquility of the surroundings. Being aware of this beforehand would have allowed me to better manage my expectations and plan accordingly
