Amazing place for first time buyers!

The building is great and there’s a great sense of community within the building. It’s a fantastic place for someone looking for a more accessible entry point into the London real estate market. Each flat has been thoughtfully designed, they’re cozy and well built. The roof terrace is fantastic and offers great unobstructed views.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This place is very conveniently located to public transport and to really nice spots in the neighborhood, like Chatsworth Rd, London Fields, Victoria Park. Really appreciate living on a small street that sees few cars or people at night, making it a nice, peaceful place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are usually very reactive. If there is any damage to anything or if I have any questions, they respond really promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish the roof terrace had more built in features like furniture to enjoy the space even more!

Lovely development. Small with a strong community feel. The roof terrace is huge and perfect for summer evenings with friends! The development feels well made with a good attention to design. Very impressed!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Amazing location. Great for the shops, cafes and restaurants or Chatsworth Road with a great Sunday market. A short walk to green areas such as Victoria Park, Hackney Downs and London Fields. Between Homerton and Hackney Central stations for quick access to central London! Also the street itself is quiet with no through traffic.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick and efficient! Luckily not needed them too much though.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How to work underfloor heating!!

I bought an apartment at Rosina through HTB with my partner and we have really enjoyed the first two years here. We were looking for Hackney area specifically and it is walking distance to Chatsworth Rd, Hackney Central and London Fields. The design and spec of the flat are better than we expected and communal roof terrace is a great feature. The after care from the developer was a bit slow but all issues were resolved in the end.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like the good selection of pubs, shops and markets, close to green spaces London Fields and Victoria Park. Dislike high levels of crim.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I could have know how loud the freight trains are!

Incredible apartment and good value

My wife and I bought out first home at Rosina Street and we couldn't be happier. Our apartment is pretty high and the views are incredible with The Shard, City of London, Canary Wharf etc. The spec is fantastic, something you would expect at a high end luxury development and the roof terrace is an added bonus. There were a few issues with security at the beginning but this has all been fixed now. It's an amazing place to call home and would recommend to anyone looking for a more affordable east London alternative to Dalston, London Fields, etc. Thank you Pocket for making our home ownership dream a reality!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's not the prettiest pocket of London

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there are freight trains throughout the night

Amazing opportunity to buy a flat. Disappointing quality of materials used.

I really like living at this property. It's a great location and close to public transport links. I wouldn't have been able to buy in this area without Pocket Housing building these affordable homes. I think it's a good place to live if you want to invest in an affordable property. It's still expensive and not a realistic price for the majority of people in the U.K., but it's a lot cheaper than your standard flat price in London. I probably wouldn't recommend living here if you are sensitive to sound as it's very close to the train tracks. The flats are really nicely designed and let in loads of light which is great. My feeling is that these flats were built really quickly and corners were cut in terms of some of the materials use, so there have been a lot of issues with things like the door, floor and windows. I don't think the building is going anywhere though thankfully :) The service company that look after the building keep things ticking over, but I think they charge to much for what they actually do.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area has loads going on. Cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, lots of fitness centres, community organisations, the hospital is just over the road, people are generally friendly. It's close to Victoria Park and Hackney Marshes. It's a great location.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The quality of the materials used in the building of the flat.

We are so pleased you really like living at your property and have managed to get you on the property ladder in such a great location, but we are sorry to hear your thoughts on the build quality. We certainly don’t cut corners on the materials we use, and we analyse all the component parts that go into our flats to ensure that we improve performance from project to project. We take customer care really seriously so if you do have ongoing concerns, please do let us know.
