Flat is spacious and good layout with lovely view of Totteridge Valley. Property Manager on site which is convenient. Development will not be completed until 2023 so signs of building work in progress but not a problem.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Quite convenient location with relatively good transport links. Parking can be a problem.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responsive with snaggings and any defects/ teething issues which are under the 2 year guarantee. Visitors parking is non existent at present.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Do your homework. Be wary of the sales pitch

Getting the best of country and city

The apartment blocks are well designed yet relatively neutral to put all the emphasis on the surrounding trees, fields and nature. The facilities are only part-built at this point - when the landscaping/gardens and concierge are finished the facilities will go up a gear or two. First Port are a reasonably good management company. Overall I really enjoy living in Ridgeway Views - it's peaceful and beautiful round here. The plant nurseries behind which have a cafe is a nice bonus.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ridgeway Views is all about location - the development is on the edge of the Green Belt at Totteridge Valley. If you are fortunate enough to have a flat at the back of the estate, you are basically overlooking a country valley. Yet if you walk out the front of the estate, there is a 240 bus stop right there from which it takes 2.5 mins to get to the Tube line at Mill Hill east. That's the magic of the place.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues have been addressed but it can be really hard actually contacting a human being at Barratt

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Terrible mobile phone signal. Windows that are almost impossible to clean.

A bit of a let down with the recent theft of a car from the property. Other than that, it has been a great experience so for

The development is prime as Mill Hill is a decent area to live in. Proximity to the station, schools and local shops is great. I also like that the developer has added a lot of greenery and the landscape is beautiful.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I was one of the first occupants to move in Sept 2018 and haven’t had any major issues with my flat.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The response time is commendable and support staff

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No guest parking for Andrewes House. This was not communicated appropriately.

The design of the building has been done so as to not spoil the view for others

The design of the building has been done so as to not spoil the view for others, therefore they are not high rise. They also have grass in the roof so they look pretty from a birds eye view. With any problems we have encountered we have had them seen to asap.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is in a great location, well connected with the bus routes and tube links with the northern line and over ground. There are many local shops nearby to grab a coffee, have a manicure or pick up something for dinner. The views are outstanding and there are many local walks to do.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been very efficient with any problems we have encountered
