Barratt London

Barratt London is part of Barratt Developments PLC. The first scheme launched in 1982 and, since then it has been responsible for hundreds of residential properties across the capital, spanning exclusive city penthouses to mixed-use regenerated communities. The company strives to offer quality homes by providing excellence in design, construction and customer service. Barratt London developments The company has constructed properties all over the capital, ranging from Trinity Square in North London’s up-and-coming Colindale suburb, right down to aptly-named The Sanctuary in the leafy Wimbledon area of South West London. “The development felt like home so quickly. Customer service has been second to none, the post sales team and site manager have been fantastic – this has added such value for us. We are so pleased with our decision to buy a new build!” – Katie L, resident at Barratt London's Trinity Square "Right overlooking the Welsh Harp, absolutely excellent. I’ve also become more cognisant as to how well designed it is for privacy, such as the balcony layout. The building management team are excellent, staffed by people who genuinely want to make sure that residents are happy and who really try their best for the residents. In addition, the after sales service was exemplary, really couldn’t fault it. I’d add, I’m delighted I live here and have thought that every day since I moved here." – KS, verified resident at Hendon Waterside "The development is excellent value for money (based on the service change) given that there’s a really good gym, concierge, the common areas are maintained to a good standard." – Yoana, verified resident at Greenland Place Reviews for Barratt London HomeViews can help you find your next Barratt London home. The development has a nice design and offers good facilities. The amenities are convenient and enjoyable, and the location is excellent with easy access to public transportation and nearby shops. Overall, it's been a positive experience with a few minor improvements needed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Love the community here and transport links are excellent. More shops are opening up lately, which is great

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn't fully consider the limited parking situation before moving in.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of my home is the spacious and bright living room, which has large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offer a beautiful view.

Life in brixton

Brixton Square, SW9

Buildings here are stylish in some areas and very drab in others, places such as moorlands estate look outdated and unpleasant. Other areas look very nice such as brixton main road whilst still maintaining culture and history such as areas like electric avenue and brixton village.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

New gentrification brings in a lot of restaurants and shops and has created an amazing community with an exciting night life. Transport links are convenient with tube, national rail and good bus routes all in the area. My street is very quiet as it is slightly recessed from main road but a short walk away. Slight anti social behaviour with the youth and the way they act.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure you know exactly who to contact if anything goes wrong in your place as that will help you save some time in the future

What is the best feature of your home:

Windows near the roof that let in early morning sunrise light in that let's the upstairs landing glow when u step out of your room

I am happy with the design of my home and the development overall. The facilities are standard, which is good for keeping those service charges at a minimum. We are about to get a Residents Management Company running, which is excellent for managing things as a community of residents.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Love the area. Shops, restaurants & bars are excellent. Transport links are amazing with the tube station just across the road. There is no parking though, but that's pretty much standard across London with newbuilds.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I'm pleased with the fact that there is a Residents Management Company registered by the developer from the start with the freehold about to get transferred to it.

What is the best feature of your home:

Modern amenities, open layout, sleek kitchen, and convenient location.

The design of my flat is very pleasing. The management is appalling.

Attractive brick buildings, attractive bathrooms, average kitchens, nice shops and delis emerging in the area and in the development. Security improvement would be good - namely, having patrols as some undesirables often try and snatch phones or shop lift openly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our development is in an upcoming area, near docks, a short walk from Canada Water and Surrey Quays Jubilee and Overground stations. Great. The issue is L&Q who manage, well "manage", our development. Absolute cowboys who cannot be trusted.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how totally unprofessional and basically dangerous L&Q is as an organisation.

What is the best feature of your home:

The design of my flat is very pleasing. The management is appalling.

Bad reply times from management

Upton Gardens, E13

No guest parking. Management is super bad and you get reply to emails in 10 days. No point of contact in emergency. The staff are not coorporative. The lift gets stops often. The rubbish from the dustbin is not take and is always spread outside. No complaining options.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good : have good local market Bad : No leisure activities to do Good: area has school near by Bad : not a spacious society

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No guest parking. They don’t take rubbish on time and we throw rubbish in open in the start.

What is the best feature of your home:

This has big balcony which attracts many people in building
