The building design is generally good, the houses are a high spec and have everything you need. The only downside in our house is the lack of a garden/proper outside space. The building/property manager is Lexadon and they are not very good. We have had several issues in the house that they have not attended to and are generally not that responsive. However, the house hasn’t had too many issues so we haven’t had to engage with them much.
Manager response
Dear Duncan, Thank you for taking the time to leave this honest review. We appreciate you have been a tenant of ours for three years and take your feedback very seriously. We would love to respond to each point as best as we can. Thank you for the lovely feedback about the spec of the property. We tried to think of our tenants wants and needs with the bright/ open spaces, double glazing, security alarms, dishwashers, induction hobs, hot taps, filtered cold taps and the minimalist look. The properties where part of a large development of 36 houses and did have limited planning permission with changing the existing houses/ spaces. All houses in the development have some outdoor space (some agreeably larger than others) Luckily for our tenants Clapham Common is only a short walk away giving lots of outdoor open space. As discussed on the phone prior to writing this response, we have looked into the several issues you have had like a new dishwasher as quickly as possible however are still looking into the smell from your basement pump in the bathroom and agree this is taking a little longer. The development does have a section 106 parking restriction, there is no residential permits available for this site as it could potentially mean another 150 cars on the road outside in Clapham Old town. This is enforced by the council and is part of the planning permission. The development is 5-10 minutes away from several tube/ train stations and bus links in to central London. Thank you again for being a tenant of ours for 3 years and we hope to keep a happy tenant/ landlord relationship. Kind regards, Lexadon
