The building is newly built, very clean with a lovely interior design. It has well organized communal spaces and a perfect atrium, sometimes utilized for yoga classes. You literally become a part of a community that cares for all, environmentally, socially when you become a resident. And you would have the opportunity for almost 7/24 hour support always with smiling faces from building management/front desk team Ellen, Yasmin and Shea and security people. So glad to be a part of it!

Poplin - a great place to live and a perfect community to be part of! Located literally in one of the fanciest neighborhoods with lovely local shops, restaurants, pubs, bakeries and everything. All in walking distance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team is very supportive and responsive. Always trying to listen and figure out a solution.

The building has amazing facilities such as the communal terrace which is great to sit down and unwind. I've enjoyed and used the communal lounge/coworking area. In terms of the kitchen design, it could be more spacious since it can be a struggle to fit in everyday appliances. Regarding the building management, I've had great service and my problems have been solved immediately. The overall design of the building is unique and I've enjoyed my time here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are some nice shops and cafes nearby with transport links being right outside the building. It's been easy to get around and there's always something to do.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond fairly quickly and efficiently via the active building app + email

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how busy the area was in terms of the fire station and hospital being quite close. I also wish I knew how unsafe it was to park around the building as there have been many car break-ins.

I moved in here a few months ago and love living here! It’s a gorgeous building with spacious apartments. Management is great and it’s so lovely to see familiar faces when coming in - I always have a good yapping session with Ellen! I love having the roof terrace for some green space too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s very central and bars are right on your doorstep without the noise! Bins are easy and you can hardly hear traffic.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well! They’re very quick to respond and proactive!

Parking is a struggle but there are free options 5-10 minutes walk away too

Great location and amenities, poor privacy.

Having lived here for a year now, there have been a number of positives and negatives. Positives have been that it is a great location. The flats are well laid out, we like the design and reasonable rent prices. The moving in process was easy. However, we’ve had a number of issues with privacy. The main one being that you can’t lock the apartment from inside. On multiple occasions, residents would be informed (very reasonably) that maintenance work needs to be carried out in the apartment. Sometimes we’d only get 24hr notice, and on other times without any notice the contractors will enter to do work. On many of these occasions, there has been unauthorised entries into the apartment to carry out work without being physically let in. As the staff/contractors have a master key, they are quick at using that instead of knocking and waiting for someone to open. This continued occurring despite alerting the building team about the incidences. It raises privacy concerns as residents may be getting changed at home or coming out of the shower, only to find a staff member inside their apartment, having entered without being authorised to do so. A simple and easy solution would be to allow locks on the main door so that one can lock it from inside if you’re at home. I think overall, it has been a good living experience, great rent prices, great location, and nice amenities. But the privacy issue is a big negative.

Ideal location. Very central to restaurants and shops. Close to Piccadilly and Victoria station No issues with noise from outside as windows are sound proof. No parking availability. Need to get private parking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management are friendly. But after having formally raised the privacy issues early in the tenancy, the issues continued.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

1. You can not lock the apartment. 2. The WiFi tech (not OpenReach so keeps dropping due to interference)

Hi Anass, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to detail your experiences. We appreciate your honesty and am glad to hear that you have enjoyed many aspects of living here, such as the location, layout, and rent prices. We understand how important privacy is, and it is concerning to hear that unauthorized entries have occurred despite previous notifications. To address your concerns: 1. Privacy and Security: I understand the importance of feeling secure in your home. Unfortunately, due to fire safety we cannot install locks on the inside of the apartment. 2. Notice for Maintenance Work: While we aim to provide at least 24 hours' notice for any maintenance work as per the contract, I acknowledge that there have been lapses. I will reinforce our policy with the building team to ensure that notice is given and that contractors always knock 3 times as per our standard requests to anyone entering into residents apartments. 3. WiFi Issues: We have raised with Hyperoptic and they have advised that upgrades are been taking place on all apartments remotely within the building to find a more stable solution for all residents. 4. Parking: As we do not have a car park allocated to Poplin parking in a central location will be an issue for any building with no allocated private spaces. We look forward to you spending another year at Poplin now you have renewed your tenancy. Thank you again for your feedback.

Stunning building with amazing facilities! The roof terrace is fab for when the sun is shining, the coffee sets me up for the day and to top it over the management are amazing. The flat is beautiful inside and creates a modern living environment. The outside space is also fab.

Such a lovely place to live! The area is full of fun things to do with a great vibe. Good bars and food

Very quick to come to fix any issue we had when we moved in
