Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to shops and Hallam uni. Perfect for ease to the train station and bus routes. Walking distance to centre and supermarkets.Traffic noise is heavy at the front of the building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes - but took time and done on the cheap. Mattress quality terrible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noise from the road. Near town, near supermarkets, near station.

good- location close to town centre bad- active leak that has been here for a year, rats in the bin stores

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

very very slow, had to call multiple times for anything to be done, when an attempt was done to fix the roof it clearly wasn't done to standard because it was not fixed and made it worse

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the leak!!!!!! the rats, theft from the building of parcels as they are just left on display on a table

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good local shop. Bin collection has got better, was a bit slow to start off with. Parking varies should be more spaces available on the street behind building

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very fast and efficient. Contacted people who resolve issues to fix problem

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Flat wasn’t very clean before moving in, had to be done fully by ourselves as seemed it was only a half job

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Oynx Residence is situated in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for university students and shoppers alike. The area is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and offers excellent facilities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The work they have done is commendable, but they seem to take their time when it comes to addressing issues such as faults and maintenance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I've noticed that whenever my neighbor does household tasks like washing up, taking a shower, or doing the laundry, I hear a disruptive sound coming through my pipes.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: 10 min walk to train station, close to a convenient store which is opening 24 hours. Bad: parcels left all over table and may be stolen, no 24 hours reception, need to wait very long time for maintenance team

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Asked the maintenance team for help to fix my problem but have been waiting for weeks and no response yet. Very inefficient.

I wish I’ve compared more choices around this area as there is really better choices around with a lower/ same price.
