The design of the houses is favourable for families.

The design of the houses is favourable for families. The houses are spacious, with nice finishes. The down side of the development is that there are no playgrounds area for children. Also, as lots of residents have dogs, there should be dog bins in place on the streets, as this is a real issue on some areas.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A nice, quite area of the town, the development is perfect for bringing up your family. Close to the beach, walking distance from bars and restaurants and and also not far from bigger cities (driving distance). Parking spaces for visitors should be looked at as there are not available, and parking on the side of the road can cause issues to the residents.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wished to have known that there will be Hillcreast housing across the street from our home

What is the best feature of your home:

A large garden at the front and the back of the house compered with other plots

We have had no problem with the build not many snagging points I love the design of my house it’s big and bright with a big back garden the only problem we had was the garden was on quite a hill and the ground was solid witch proved difficult when doing the garden up

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Shops are a 5 min walk also there is a bar about a 20 min walk Bus stop are being put into the development We have no problems with parking every one has there own driveway the recycling collection is regular with no issue as for antisocial behaviour we have a very good street as we are all home owners

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Probably the only thing I would say is that there was no show house like ours so we could not see what the house was like before buying it just saw pictures and plans

What is the best feature of your home:

The large kitchen dinner we spend most of our time in and extra bathrooms

the development lacks winter treatment

The development area is not yet fully completed however the layout so far is good. There is a mixture of styles of houses throughout the development. The property management company charge a fee to come and look after communal areas of grass and trees they do this to quite a good standard. I would say the development lacks winter treatment such as gritting the street hardly ever gets gritted and can be dangerous for walking and driving.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice location on edge of town. Close to local shop and garage Roads and pathways are easily accessible and adapted for wheelchairs. Not a bus route

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were not made aware that a fee was charged for property management on top of council tax

What is the best feature of your home:

Our house has a good layout all over the open plan kitchen and diner I would say is the best feature for us

Nice place to live

The area is nice, nice looking houses. The property management company do the bare minimum to make the place look nice. A lot of the people have complained and hopefully it will improve. Disappointed in the garden, as building materials have been dug up. Not a lot of base was put down before the grass

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

With being on the edge of town, it is not too close to the shops. The bus stop is at the bottom of the road. I believe once the development gets bigger, a bus route will come up

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The quality of grass that was put down would have been better

What is the best feature of your home:

I like the location. It's a quiet area and the houses look nice

The design of each of the houses is different

Aaron (Owner)

The design of each of the houses is different. The argyle houses have 2 different designs, same as the other types of houses. It helps keep the area look interesting as each house looks well designed, but aren’t all the same colour/shape. Some people have added external lights to their home, and it really helps the area look fantastic at night.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a convenience store, barber, tanning salon, bakers, butchers no more than a 5-10 minute walk away. Local bus stops situated close to the housing area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only issue was, we moved in after the first lockdown due to covid, so eventually when we did move in, we were the first on moonlight gardens to move in, and the street was still a building site. Now all the surrounding houses are built, there’s no more diggers etc going up and down the street.

What is the best feature of your home:

The outside look and design. The way it’s a combination of harolding, and coloured stone make it look worth more!
