Cosy Modern Apartment Right in the Heart of Finnieston

Ryan W. (Tenant)

Jul 2024

Sound proofing is better than expected, considering this is a new build. Garden areas are very nice and seem to be well maintained. Apartments are not massive but do make best use of the space. Views are excellent, even some apartments on the ground floor have nice views of key Glasgow landmarks. Building management appears to be fairly responsive to any issues, no complaints.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent choice of good quality restaurants and bars that cater to a range of cliental. Easy access to train station, with regular services to Glasgow city centre and further a field. It can get busy at times which may not be for some residents but there always is a 'buzz' about the place. You can literally feel the train rumble by (which I love)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Initial response has always been quick. Planning the works can sometimes take longer than hoped but appreciate that may happen from time to time based on the request.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noise of motorway at different times of the day and the noise of the common corridors

As a professional executive returning to Glasgow, this is one of the best places in Glasgow's vibrant West End to be living. Nestled in the 'heart' of the magical part of Glasgow, on the doorsteps to so many facilities of gyms, restaurants, coffee shops, the famous Art Gallery, the famous Kelvingrove Park and a short 20 mins walk to the centre of Glasgow, this is ideal. Highly recommend.

The design of the property is excellent, as are the details of the interior, the external buildings and the attention to the landscaping. The easy of access to parking, to the collection of the bin collection is seamless. With such a new property there have been very few if any defects, which is excellent. The feeling of safety is 100%, particularly with the great internal sensory lighting. A slight negative at the moment, due to it's newness is that many of the utility organisations do not have the location address, as it is not on their registers.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location, the property and the communication of the leasing team first class. Love the security, the tranquility and the fact of being part of a community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

At this stage haven't had the need to engage in any issues / concerns or problems

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How accessible this location is to all. Additionally the fixtures are of a very high standard and design - well done

Minerva Square is being very well maintained and the homes being new built are great to stay in. Homes come along with furnishing so getting started was hassle free. The location of the property is in walking distance to all amenities and the Finnieston offers a wide range of variety for daily life and recreational activities.

The locality is perfect with public transport, supermarkets, parks and restaurants in walking distance and city center is easily accessible.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, the couple of minor queries that I'd raised were promptly handled.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No surprises, I had everything written to me over email before I had moved in and the property manager Julie did walk me through everything during the move in so I haven't had to know anything else per se.

The design of the development is modern and aesthetically pleasing with well thought out layouts and stylish finishes

The design of the development is modern and aesthetically pleasing with well thought out layouts and stylish finishes. The communal areas are well maintained and contribute to a pleasant living environment. The access control system to enter the building and the cctv in the building do a good job of keeping the residents safe! I have to mention Julie, the lettings and property manager, who helped me in my search for a home when I needed it most. Julie guided me through and thoroughly explained Minerva Square, and when the interior of the house needed maintenance, Julie was very proactive in contacting the maintenance.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Staying at Minerva Square is a real pleasure, there is ample parking on the park as well as bike racks, rubbish is in the bin room and there is no odour! There is a train station and bus stop nearby, which makes travelling to the city centre or the University of Glasgow an easy task, and it has been very comfortable to say that you can't hear the noise despite being so close to the train station!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Julie, the property manager, was very helpful and when the interior of the house needed maintenance, Julie was very proactive in contacting for repairs. And Julie responded to my emails very quickly each time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The neighbours are friendly and it is a pet friendly flat!
