Excellent town centre location, right in the middle of Uxbridge. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and Uxbridge tube station. Flats are well insulated and keep out noise from the high street.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Pressing emergency issues get dealt with but anything else tends to take time to get resolved (if at all).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Flat insulation is excellent, you rarely need any heating on in winter. Recommend purchasing a dehumidifier as condensation can easily form on interior window surfaces on cold winter nights. Also helps to dry clothes more quickly!

Large choice of shops and restaurants in Uxbridge town centre. The development is as good as you can get location wise and is only a couple of minutes walk from the tube station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Firstport are inconsistent in terms of how they deal with problems, some issues are dealt with quickly and some drag on without resolution.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The soundproofing in the flats is excellent. You can hear very little noise from the high street.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Uxbridge has excellent transport links and the development is only 2 minutes walk from Uxbridge Underground Station and has immediate access to shops and buses. The flats have excellent sound proofing so noise from the high street is not noticeable

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues reported do get a response but it often takes a long time and sometimes without resolution.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The insulation in the flats in excellent. Even in the middle of winter the temperature inside the flat will rarely drop below 16C with NO heating on. Invest in a dehumidifier or make sure you open the doors every now and then for ventilation.
