Amazing Place to live!

The amenities are well kept. The swimming pool and sauna is a great way to meet your neighbours. We were also impressed by the residential events the staff hold. All corridors are kept clean and clear of any rubbish. We are so happy to be living here and our flat is incredible.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

My partner and I moved in last week and were immediately impressed by the friendly staff at Local Crescent. The cleanliness and overall style of all blocks at local crescent are incredible and we feel very lucky to live here

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We are yet to report any issues to the management company.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We do wish we were aware of the limited booking times to use certain amenities

Great building with amenities - no trams nearby and view-blocking construction for one half of the building

Fantastic building with a swimming pool, gym, cinema rooms and group areas- easy to book and the on site staff are great. I got super lucky with a one bedroom for £1,000 but any groups of 2 & 3 you are looking at a very high rate, higher than average in the area which is to be expected because of the amenities but given the lack of easy transport nearby I don't think overall the cost is worth it. The design of the building is gorgeous, sleek and modern and the balconies all face outwards so you are guaranteed some sun at some point! The only other down side is the eye sore of the extension of the Oxbow building just over the road... they've been working on for it about a year, no end in sight and it is truly awful in blocking the view and sunlight for all flats on that side of the building. Not to mention you'll have constructors working across from if you're on the high floors which eliminates all privacy. The construction is also of course very loud and you can't escape it no matter which floor you're on - IF you're on that side of the building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A decent area if you don't mind walking or taking the bus- strange that such a popular, developing area doesn't have a tram stop near by! The closest would be Market street or St peters' square; a 40 minute walk away... or you can take the bus. The only let down of the area really, as there is lots close by.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known the construction of the Oxbow building would be taking place! Constant noise, men on the scaffolding which eliminates privacy and completely blocked all the sun and views of the city.

What is the best feature of your home:

Amenities- especially the cinema rooms and swimming pool, a shame you can't use it it just any point as there has to be a lifeguard on duty.

The design is very modern and new

The design is very modern and new I like it a lot, with facilities just wish the leisure was open for longer times during the weekdays. Building and property management is as good as expected to be. I wish there was better parking facilities around the area

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is in a very convenient location, just wish there was a smaller sainsbury or Tesco or Aldi at the doorstep

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the bills are extremely high for very minimal use and parking is very difficult

What is the best feature of your home:

Location, its situated so perfectly between town and the airport, it’s so well connected in terms of public transport, I love that there is a gym, steam, sauna and pool.

Nothing to improve

Lia alk (Tenant)

Not bad. Nothing to improve The people working in the building as nice. Maybe just cleaner hallways in each floor and for the bin chute to smell good and for it to become cleaner because it can smell at times because of bins & people sometimes make it dirty

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good nothing bad, everyone is close and near the center.. I don’t know why else to say all good otherwise

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing really it’s all good. Everything was pretty much clear before moving in,

What is the best feature of your home:

Bin chute & room size, good facilities. Near everything which is ideal

Decent

Similar outside design as most Manchester flats however inside has a good design . They is a lot of effort on the reception area smelling nice. More space depending on the apartment rooms. Garden near gym could be improved as it’s the same look as when the building opened.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lot more amenities than other places in Manchester however slow repairs and budget could be used to improve garden . Needs better security

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The delay in problems with the flats could be faster too and fixing of old sockets.

What is the best feature of your home:

The amenities and balcony are the best parts. However the walls are weak or thin
