Good place and locality

On whole it is decent house for first time buyer but it can be better (again need to pay more). They say its 3 bedroom but can say 2 bed room because third room is small which can be used as study room/toy room. There is facilities management but never seen anyone especially during snow time to grit the streets. Still street names to be put on, all the delivery drivers get confused as there are no signs yet. Road on our street is not done properly even after finished houses more than a year back.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Its good locality with school, local shops and pathways for walking etc. At present still constructions are going on so there is lot of traffic noise and dust which end up cleaning windows/doors quite often.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we knew their after sale care which is really very worst as this may have influenced our selection.

What is the best feature of your home:

High ceilings, wooden doors and south facing garden

A lovely place to live but attention to detail could be better

I think the village is really well designed and I really like that each of the sections of houses look slightly different. The most frustrating part about my flat is that the patio doors open on to the main road, rather than the grassy area at the side of the block. This stops me from using there doors in the summer months to smart outside of as the footpath which passes them is particularly busy and it is also busy with traffic, including buses. A major design flaw I would say. The external lock ups outside the flats would be great to use but unfortunately the locks are badly stuck and they are not labelled as to which belongs to which flat so cannot be used. The facilities management is generally good and the cleaning rotas are followed weekly. It would be great if windows were included though as living on the main road, my windows are badly affected by the traffic passing by.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This development is generally a lovely place to live. There is a supermarket and excellent butcher shop within walking distance. The bus runs through the main road in the development into the centre but unfortunately doesn’t stop on the way back so a longer walk is needed. Although there are two bars down in the older part of Cove, it would be great if there was a bar up in the Charleston development. Living on the main road, the traffic noise is quite loud and because my patio doors open out onto the main road, I see a lot of foot traffic too. From time to time the teenagers from around the area hang around the flat building and cause a lot of noise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the main road outside my flat is actually quite a main route and is busy with traffic.

What is the best feature of your home:

Light and bright living space. I absolutely love the combined kitchen and living area.

Cove is perfect for us

Living in Charleston Cove is perfect for us, close to everything we need work, shops etc. Local facilities such as the local shops are beneficial. I feel the development is well laid out but lacks parking for visitors where we are situated. Poor quality road leading to our house on the development with no update on when this will be rectified. Factoring and site maintenance done to a high standard.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops such as Sainsburys, butcher, barber etc are all very handy to have so close by. Bus service is available. Streets are quiet but limited parking available.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we knew that the there was a lack of aftercare and poor aftercare delivery as this may have influenced our choice in home.

What is the best feature of your home:

The soild wooden doors throughout make the property stand out and our spacious garden.

Good quality in general. Good neighborhood

The house is well designed. In general good quality and price. Definitely better builder than some others in the market regarding quality and price. However, I felt that their customer service went down after I bought the house. Not sure if the reason was COVID or because I already purchased the house so I was not a priority for them. Several times I had to chase emails and calls so was not happy with their service at the end. So their after sales care has been my only complain

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very quiet and family oriented area with nice neighbors. Lots of parking, 2 grocery stores and a convenience store. Everything you need a walking distance including post office. Bypass and dual carriageway is an extra big plus! So close to city center. 2 buses running from the area to union square.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew their after sales care was going to be so bad.

What is the best feature of your home:

Location. Decent size and quality for the price compared to others.

houses are well designed

Some outer walls need to be replaced, houses are well designed although delivery drivers and friends and family visiting often struggle to find the address as streets are like a rabbit warren. Easy access to shops and business’. Factoring fees are slightly high- there is real work carried out in our street which requires such funds.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great neighbour, green spaces are great although not utilised to best of there potential. Lack of road markings. Some walls and pavements need fixing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The house gets no sun internally (through the windows)

What is the best feature of your home:

High ceilings, Wide hall ways and doors and the spacious down stairs toilet.
