Moved to Blairgowrie from Argyll. Very happy with this house/development.

Well designed house (Cuper) with good sized rooms (Larger than other new builds viewed). House are well finished and fitted with all that you need (floor coverings, blinds, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). Helpful management team (a few small faults fixed quickly). Development feels spacious with plenty of green spaces.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location for walking etc. Local shop within a few minutes walk. Town centre within 15 mins walk or short drive with plenty of parking. Good bus service to Perth and Dundee and town centre. Plenty parking provided. Little traffic noise due to good location of development. Quality bar restaurant with easy walk. Plenty of bars in town centre and surrounding towns/villages.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Quality of bus services with bus stop 2minutes away. House is very economical to run.

What is the best feature of your home:

Room sizes and the quality finish. Perfect location.

Building design is very good, very few snags to fix

Building design is very good, very few snags to fix, site supervisor was very responsive when we had any issues, had local flooding one day but did not affect our home and site contractor has since taken action to remedy cause of flooding.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local Transport access is good, bin collections are weekly alternating, household and recycling and garden fortnightly, so far zero anti social vehaviour

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Construction delays due to Covid caused completion date to be delayed by 4 months

What is the best feature of your home:

Well constructed , good insulation, good standards of finish

The house size is great but property/ site management is poor

The property management is very poor. We have had a lot of issues since moving in, including extras that we paid which we never received for atleast 6 months. Springfield are full of promises but don’t commit to following through. Although the house is well built, if I was to buy a new build again I would not chose springfield.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Where we are has some lovely views at the back of the house. Bus stop isn’t far either. We have our own driveway however, most workmen on the site park over your drive which is very annoying (even more so as they have a designated site to park in!!) it would have been nice if there was a park for the children to play in though

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Unsure

What is the best feature of your home:

How open it is. Even though the house is quite compact, it doesn’t feel small. Also the bathrooms. I love the storage we have in the bathrooms and the choices we got to make to make our bathroom our own style
