considering the small size of the house, the space has been used very well

The house design is great, and considering the small size of the house, the space has been used very well. The facilities included in the house are all of a high standard. The building and property management is good, but could be improved by a quicker service of snags.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great, very close to town and the train station. There are a range of cafes, bars and restaurants close by, as well as a large supermarket. There is off road parking as well as a driveway. The negative aspect is that the houses a very close together so it feels like there isn’t any privacy. Also, the street lights have still not been installed after 1 year of living here, and the road hasn’t been finished.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been good but quite often slow to solve things.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we’d have known that flooring and turf are not included in the price because it made things a lot more expensive.

Great location for restaurants and commuting

Great layout of the plots, good garden size for a new build, don’t feel very overlooked and built with a lovely brick. However management is poor, snags not corrected in timely manner and no park being built despite a large family community. There has been no street lighting for the last year and now only half are on despite multiple promises

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Perfect location to walk into Macclesfield, close to the shops & station. Minimal traffic noise, and train line only heard occasionally

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Poor management, over a year in property and things still no corrected. Poor communication

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would of researched the developer more

Ideal location with family living in mind

R Billingham (Owner)

Well designed living space with family living in mind. Wonderful kitchen/diner with separate utility means noisy appliances can be kept out of sight. Large driveways means plenty of space for parking and lots of outside space is great for the kids. Large bay window is a wonderful feature for the living room and makes the space bright and airy

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located close to the town centre with great access to Manchester and the local train station. With easy access to the beautiful Cheshire countryside and walks right on the doorstep. West park is located less than 5 minutes away and there’s lots of great local schools

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Slow to rectify and not very good at tracking issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Check your floor plans for layout and fixtures and fittings to make sure everything is as it should be

Lovely site, great location, happy with my purchase

The design of the houses is lovely, especially for hew build. The quality overall has been Good abs the guys on site were really helpful. I’ve been here 8 months and the road is still in a bad state and the street lights don’t all work yet. I’ve not really seen anything if any site management so I’m not sure what we pay for.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is perfect, so much is walkable within 10 minutes. I have 2 parking spaces and there is plenty of road parking if I have more guests. Bin collections have been good and regular. It’s silent once the building work has stopped, you don’t hear anything except people driving past to get to their own house.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

My initial snags were dealt with quickly and efficiently. It is a little trickier trying to get the customer service teams to come out.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have hired someone to asses snags as I missed things and then it was too late to report. Don’t pay Bellway for extras inc flooring etc, it’s so much cheaper and better quality to arrange yourself inc turf for your garden.

Excellent design of buildings in an ideal location.

The exterior design of the houses are stunning and very contemporary and tasteful with off a nice wide street on a plot of land among nice mature trees in a quiet area. The communal grass area is looked after and kept neat with visits every couple weeks or so.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is great with a 5 minute walk down the Riverside park with a nice countryside walk through to Prestbury. The estate is a 10 minute walk to town with all the local restaurants/cafes and just a stones throw away from Sainsbury's supermarket. The estate is very quiet and feels safe.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded in a timely fashion however there have been delays on occasion but hard to fault due to Covid.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Have a walk around the estate and the local area to ensure it's the right fit.
