clarion do not provide the best service as a housing association

The estate is really well. Homes are well built the facilities are to a high standard. Just again clarion do not provide the best service as a housing association and can be really hard to deal with. The property manger bloor homes provide a great service and are always on hand to support at the main reception and the builders.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Hudson Meadow is a great location which is only down the road into town and up the road into the scenic area around the cloud. Bloor are great but Clarion housing aren’t the best with providing after care services and are slow to react to snagging and maintaining public land on the estate.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The customer experience of clarion housing is not the best and are very vague when it comes to timescales from when we purchased the property and with snagging related issues.

What is the best feature of your home:

The kitchen finish and the garden area is a great space. We also got provided a shed and carpets.

New modern facilities in the home

Dec 2022

Design is great. Clean and well spaced out . New modern facilities in the home. Plenty of space. People seem to think parking above the kerb is acceptable but with no regard for those with pushchairs or maybe even wheelchairs.Greenery is nice and well maintained which leads me to my negative. Management charge still not requested and been here now over a year.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great place with mix of rural and town. Nice and clean. Negative is parking as so many cars park on pavement

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That people would buy a house with a garage and 2 parking spaces on the drive but don’t use them

What is the best feature of your home:

I like it he space and set up rooms are good size and the kitchen is great

Such a lovely place to live, lots of greenery and near lots of lovely walks. Feel spaced out enough and has a very cozy feel. Enjoy the path to walk around with the dog and the traditional feel of the houses. All management are very friendly and helpful

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Everything is really accessible, lots of food shops- Aldi, Tesco, Morrisons. Wish there was another cheaper petrol station nearer

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Get temporary blinds Book your floor and furniture in early

What is the best feature of your home:

Size of the rooms High ceilings Big garden Quality of finish

Glad I’m renting

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from your neighbour including a light switch being turned on and off. The bedrooms are not designed well and are oddly shaped aswell as being small. The kitchen is a good size and means your able to put a dining room table in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There isn’t much to do locally and most of the towns shops have closed down. It’s full of cafes mainly now.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The walls are paper thin, I mean so thin I can hear my neighbours turning on and off light switches and using the toilet… it’s not great.

What is the best feature of your home:

The kitchen, it’s spacious and has an area for the dining room table which is really nice!
