Water logged rear garden

Before we moved in we decided to have Redrow turf the rear garden.Well that the biggest mistake we ever made as the drainage is so bad that everything dies because the ground is just water logged. In a few weeks we will be having it dug out completely and done properly by proper landscape gardeners and not the cowboys redrow are using.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

No facilities and lots of dog fouling due to some owners being totally ignorant of the law but there is nothing Redrow can do

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No they don't want to know anything about drainage issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Redrow option of garden landscaping is the same as all new builds.None existent

The Redrow houses are beautiful in design and have great kerb appeal. They have designs for everyone and everyone’s price range. Bedrooms are more than ample in size, which other developers seem to ignore. The quality of kitchen and floorings can be noticed from when you begin choosing and a great range of choices too. The ability to go through all choices from light switches to turf through the online portal is great, you can check in on the progress of build and then afterwards log your snags. It takes the human contact away which is sometimes you prefer but as this was taken away during the pandemic this is the next best thing.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located just off the A5 commuter links are great, the layout of the grounds around the new site are well thought out and make the first stage of this development inviting. Parking is more than on other estates that I have experienced and currently no issues with visitors. Bin collections are adequate alternating on weeks for general and recycling. Nuneaton is having an investment put into the town which is needed but with Hinckley just literally 5 minutes down the road shopping is very accessible, fosse park is only 20mins away which is a great shopping park.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded adequately to the issues raised.

If it’s your first new home don’t panic if somethings not right work with the developers.

Development is great and street value looks amazing, All house have there own quirky feel and the neighbourhood is welcoming. I feel very comfortable knowing I live in such a great area.. I wouldn't think of anywhere else now after the move.. Thanks again

The design of the houses are beautiful and full of character compared to other new build developments. The houses are well spaced out and the development itself is quiet and very pleasant. There will be many landscaped areas once the site is completed which will be a wonderful place to walk/enjoy.

There are many nice restaurants in the area however the nicest restaurants are in the surrounding villages so a drive or taxi away. There is a Co-Op a 10 minute walk away and a Lidl a 20 minute walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues have been resolved promptly and to a high standard.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I did not expect the estate to be so quiet and peaceful (outside of building hours) which was a pleasant surprise.

The development is in good location near A5 which connects easily to main motorways. The interior structural design is fabulous. It has got more space and tall ceiling. Hoping to be a good community in future as the development is planned for another 2 years. After sales customer support is good but only few issue are not closed on time. Overall it is worth living here.

Good aspects: Home design is good. Very spacious. Tall ceiling, extra lange patio doors, open plan kitchen, branded appliances and toilet sets. To improve: Can attend any issue little more faster. Few of my complaints are addressed after delays. Also it would be better the ramp infront car park can be laid properly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most of the issues are addressed, although there are few issue which was delayed for long time.
