Not many local shops in a walking distance. Aldi is meant to be opened in July 2022. Very close to Hazelwood.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how long it would take to finish other house as the building works were quite loud and messy.

What is the best feature of your home:

Open kitchen plan, south facing garden and spacious garage.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Area is very quiet, shop/cafes are within walking distance, new supermarket will improve area when it opens. Parking and bin collections are excellent, has been occasional problems with gangs of youths from other areas gathering locally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The amount of work required to get the back garden into an enjoyable space.

What is the best feature of your home:

The open plan design which makes living in a small house airy and pleasant.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love my Dandarra new build - I have been on 3 years - no issues at all really - the finish is exceptional and far higher than other people feel about their new builds - never noticed no pavements (or very few) until I moved in)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My car parking space is tight - only negative

What is the best feature of your home:

The insulation and sound proofing and the finish which is very good

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ive lived in Aberdeen all my life and needed to downsize last year my new semi detached home is amazing the area is lovely 4 minute walk to get to hazlehead park a brand new Aldi opening next month is a 10 minute walk away very nice neighbours and the insulation is great. My adjoining neighbour said the other day she never hears me and I said the same to her plus i have a dog.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The solar panels were a nightmare to get my energy company to recognise but again the help was great also it would be good to have it pointed out that there are post Behind the plaster board in all the rooms ready for curtain poles or rails. I had to ask the neighbour.

What is the best feature of your home:

For me the underfloor heating down stairs and the south facing garden won me over
