Very modern design and stylish decoration

Very modern design and stylish decoration. Appliances are new and good. The dinning table looks good but not very good quality as it started cracking and discolouring in the first 2 days since I moved in. I was advised it will be replaced but nothing happened yet. Hope it will not be deducted from the deposit.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very modern design and stylish decoration. Nice staff including cleaners and the maintenance contractor. The noise and anti-social behaviour such as partying in the yard might need to be monitored and controlled in the summer.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It's has been OK, however, there is no onsite staff so it has to be over the phone or email. An onsite staff might be easier.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As mentioned before, the funiture (dining table) started having issues in the first 2 days since I moved in. These should be documented and photo-taken as evidence to cover.

Overall it's pretty good.

The building is relatively pretty and well maintained. Each entrance is locked behind a code, with a camera pointing towards its door. Cleaning is done regularly. They even sometimes clean up your windows. The trash is taken out every week and the bins are also locked behind a door code. The mailboxes are right next to them, also secured in a similar fashion. There is even an amazon locker. Overall it's pretty good.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I would say this is a good development. There are bus stops right in front of it, cameras in every entrance and it is located close to the city centre with a Iceland grocery store as near as a 3 min walk across the street for your weekly needs. The streets are relatively calm at night, although the seagulls aren't (especially around 3 am). The only real complain i'd have is that the rent is quite high (around 850-1200 ranging from studios to 2 bedroom apartments).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I did have quite a few problems with my flat when i first moved in but the manager helped me sort through them. He's always available for help via WhatsApp which is nice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had known about some neighbors smoking what seems to be pot sometimes in the courtyard. The smells isn't that great...

l am very pleased by the modern design, the facility and also the inspirind quotes on the wall. The people around are amazing and never had to complain about anything. Landlord is very understanding and compreensive. A lot of visiting friends asked me about moving in to the building aswell.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I enjoyd the environment a lot, and the location is top tier. The only sad thing is that my block does not have elevators.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, very compreensive and hardworking people and also very quick to make chagens or fixes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That by my block did not have a lift. Unfortunately thats the inly bad think about it.

Great location in Coventry city centre, newly renovated in 2021

FC (Tenant)

Jul 2022

Newly renovated in 2021, fully furnished with a full kitchen. The best thing is there is an on-site handyman, Stuart (in office hour, employed by the property management) who is very helpful & professional and would help fix things by appointments (he helped fix our boiler). Elevator reaches to the 3rd floor and is nicely maintained. The downside is the limited and uncovered parking lots and you have to pay £50 (2021 price) monthly for a space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very convenient location, only 8-min walk to the Coventry Train Station, 4-min walk to Iceland and the Coventry Market (fresh foods), 10 min-walk to the high street, bus terminal, Coventry University, Tesco Express, Sainsbury, Belgrade Theatre and the Cathedral ruins. From our living room windows, we can see fireworks and parade in different festivals which is an extra bonus. (See the photo which shows the view from my living room window) Residential surroundings on both sides of the Greyfriars Road so it is still relatively quiet, especially for the rooms facing the designated car park. For rooms facing the Greyfriars Road, you may hear motor bike gangs or groups of students having a good time when they are out for weekend’ s nights, especially in summer which may wake you up. The WiFi is generally good.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The apartment was newly renovated when we moved in and there was water leaking from the bathroom ceiling. The handyman responded to our whatsapp quickly and fixed that within 2 days which was excellent. Some tenants smoked weed in the corridors. The management quickly installed smoke detector there and it did help resolve the issue.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Whether there is a night guard. Yes, I have seen him working but am not sure if there is still one at the moment.
