The building I live is very modern, has big windows (that’s why I chose it) that allows to enter a lot of light. Build management is very organised and quite quick when service is required. The only thing is to have carpets in all of rooms, I would not have in all if I could.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love very much to live in the Waverley state area. Good energy, amazing view with a lake and a lot of green for good walks with pets or for exercise! The bad aspect would be not have YET more retail or restaurants nearby to go by foot, aside that all good.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

More places to go by foot like restaurantes and shopping places

What is the best feature of your home:

My big windows! I love to have it in my bedroom and living room

Nice Up and Coming Area

The area is designed nicely with the greenery well maintained. The area is still being built which on the whole is well managed and the developers are great in handling any issues. The site backs onto a Barrett's development which is very noisy and messy in comparison.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location in terms of access to motorway, Meadowhall and city centre. The area is nice and quiet on the whole with the lakes close by. The downside is the promise of a shop and amenities area that is yet to be built or finalised.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The promised amenities are far behind the promised schedule

What is the best feature of your home:

The house is 3 storeys with the top floor being a large master bedroom

Nice property to look at from a visual point of view. Garden is a good layout too. I wasn’t so keen on bark that was at the front and as a result I ended up putting slate down. The boiler is in a good location for tradesman to access it. With regards to property management there isn’t one really.

Nice estate, quiet. Only issue we have is the lack of amenities we were told about that would constructed when we moved to the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The amenities such as another doctors/shop/cafes etc. seeing the actually plans and not hearsay from the developer.

What is the best feature of your home:

The overall space of the bedrooms. Having 4 good sized double bedrooms.

Builders are friendly and helpful Deal with issues in a timely manner Green areas are well kept Reasonably yearly price for the land trust Lack of road markings Council need to take ownership sooner as when issues with street lights etc occur nothing can be done

Really good new build house with small amount of expected snags. The sales team and site manager are great and the builders are very respectful. The after care team is ok but improvements could be made. We are very happy with the design of our house it ticks all the boxes we had when house hunting

Good schools nearby, great outdoor spaces. Very close to the M1. Local shops and supermarkets easily accessible.

I should have looked better at the location of plug sockets

What is the best feature of your home:

The open kitchen and dining area is lovely, bright and spacious
