Lovely estate

Flat/apartment building main and back door are extremely heavy if ypu are disabled. Impossible to open if you are in wheelchair as no self opening/closing mechanism. (Flats are perfectly suitable inside though) The community hallway amd stairs are always clean and hoovered well weekly

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Reasonably close to local mini sainsburys pub/restaurant every close (100m) with lovely foods and ales. Buses run every hour or so that run to town/ train station, hospital and even to Brighton Town, train station and hospital. Dog poo bin over flows constantly and very rarely gets emptied.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had no issues or problems that I have had to raise

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Children park just like all newer versions are very basic and boring for kids with nothing else near by

I think the design of this development works really well.. I would like some light to the entrance as very dark and a fast road…the facilities are kept really well and grass areas always looks lovely…

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the fact it is so quiet as I live in a cul de sac and no padding traffics…

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How quiet if is..

What is the best feature of your home:

Size and 3 big bedrooms…the fact the front room open up to the garden brings in lots of light..

Pros & Cons

Overall designed well. The green in the middle seems to have been neglected lately. Still no lighting at the entrance to the development, leaving it exceptionally dark at night and difficult to see the entrance at Cape Road. House build quality is average at best, numerous quality issues, however Vistry have been good at fixing these.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A quiet and good looking development. Well spaced out housing. Poor parking availability, especially for some of the 3 bed houses. Could do with a local shop as the nearest is more than a short wall away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well. The coordinator Claire has been fantastic at getting things sorted.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Can't think of anything worthwhile to add. .

Fox Hill development

Again overall things are genuinely positive. The design layout of Fox Hill is great. Regarding our property itself we have had very little issues with only a few ‘snag’ problems. The management has been fine with any issues being rectified on that we have raised.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Fox Hill development overall is very good. Location wise it’s great with Haywards Heath town centre being within walking distance and lovely green countryside access. Regarding public transport we have a regular bus service with bus stops located along Fox Hill at the back of the development. Fox And Hounds pub is situated at the back of the development so access to a pub/eatery is a positive. Parking can be a bit of an issue on the estate due to the proximity of the country side. Dog walkers regularly park their cars on site. Luckily for us we have two car park spaces that belong to us directly in front of our property so always have a car park space. We are yet to witness any antisocial behaviour as all of our neighbours are fine. I feel it helps that we are situated down the very far end of the development.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we would have known about the difficulty of getting delivery’s due to the house being a new build which meant the address wasn’t on certain databases right away.

What is the best feature of your home:

Having an on suit which means we have three toilets in the property.

The design of the properties is okay, but the roads are very narrow meaning it’s hard to get many cars down here.

The design of the properties is okay, but the roads are very narrow meaning it’s hard to get many cars down here. Hardly any parking too! However, if you have any problems in your property, Linden are very good at solving them. The properties are very spacious. It’s nice to have the park outside for the little ones, but wish the entrance for the woods was open again as it’s a lovely walk. On the junction into the development, there needs to be more lights as it’s so hard to see at night/early morning.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely pub next door, but 20 mins walk to the nearest shop. The main road is busy. Need more lights.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Where everything is, like the bins and the other outside cupboards as we were never shown where & which one was what.
