The estate is well designed, well looked after. Ground work around our estate is always kept clean and tidy despite other building work going on. You wouldn’t notice around the housing estate as it is so clean and tidy. Bins are always collected on time each week. The estate is really quiet and all neighbours are very friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we would have asked our snagger to chase up all problems identified in the home (on minor issues was brought up such as plastering issues, decorating issues things not in line/off measurements)

What is the best feature of your home:

The whole house really so much better for a family with young children.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good are the amazing transport with the motorway right on your door stop as well as buses. Would be better with a tram or train close by. The roads in the estate are really wide so parking is no issue. Bins are always collected on time and little traffic noise which is great since the motorway is close. The only downside is the very little pubs/restaurants and shops as we only have one Spar close by.

I would do a snag list every week and make the most out of the snagging list! Make sure you do a thorough one within your first week, look behind radiators, get on your hands and knees to spot any snags

What is the best feature of your home:

Ours is an Alton G so the best feature is the top bedroom as the whole floor is the master bedroom

Perfect location close to motorway but not too close to hear the traffic close to town centre but not to close to get the traffic

How many problems we’d have and how little storage space we’d have

Living room is very spacious the main bedroom is very big also

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice walks, close to shop and safe area. All houses are lovely and plenty of open space behind the house but no cafes, restaurants bars or pubs

Where the plug sockets were to be able to plan electrics

What is the best feature of your home:

The house has three stories which means high ceilings and plenty of space.

Quiet neighbourhood with great convenient links to Middleton, Heywood, Bury and Oldham. Limited traffic noise. Lovely neighbourhood to live in and my daughter to grow up around.

Save more money for extras before moving in so more was done on completion.

What is the best feature of your home:

3 car driveway, south facing garden. Spacious first home for small family
