Lots of snags, poorly managed so snagging takes months to conclude. Poor finish internally, especially decoration. Badly fitted doors, over 50% of windows had to be adjusted as didn't close properly. Lots of plumbing issues. Brickwork built in 3 stages with distinct colour change at each level.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Road too narrow to get on and off drive. Site not yet finished so cannot comment on open spaces and parks etc.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we had known that new build developers don't care. They just want your money.

What is the best feature of your home:

The garden, as we did this ourselves. The house is a massive disappointment.

Lots of snags, waiting to long for them to be sort it, they come and they don't really fix them, I have to call them back. Very unprofessional. Disappointed but other than that the development is not to bad bad overall, special the location, happy with that

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Parking is a struggle, local shops not to bad, hope this will change in the future. Other than that all good

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

This was our first ever home therefore we weren’t really sure what to expect when purchasing here. The design of our style house suits us but calling this house a 3 bed is extremely generous. 2 bedrooms just about fit a double bed and a wardrobe in, but the 3rd ‘bedroom’ is literally a box that is not suitable as a bedroom. For the price, we could have definitely got more in hindsight. There is hardly any storage built into the house which means the little bedroom space we have has to be taken up by significant amount of furniture. Our garden is a decent size and despite not being south facing, we get a good amount of sun for the majority of the day! The houses are not crammed together like other developments we visited so our garden feels more private without people overlooking. It has occasionally been a difficult process to get some after care problems with the house rectified, despite reporting them early. However, most of our problems have now been resolved and the people we were dealt with were always polite so we are happy. At the moment, there are no facilities to enjoy as such due to the development still being at early stages so I cannot comment on this aspect. Overall, the houses are modern, designed fairly well, and I think the facilities will be good once the development is finished! We are most excited for the planned parks and the green spaces to open so we have more places to walk our dogs.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area has quite a few local amenities; a coop and a Tesco! And a fair few takeaways. We both use cars but the public transport appears to be good. Lots of busses pass through the centre of Ludgershall. The parking situation in our street is not fantastic. There are lots of cars parked along the road as there has been no visitor parking allocated. However, the street and the development so far is very quiet and we have experienced no anti-social behaviour.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Once you have furniture in the rooms, they are very small due to lack of built in storage!

What is the best feature of your home:

The beat feature of our home is the kitchen! We would have loved for it to lead out to the garden but even in its current layout, it is spacious and has good natural lighting. We get lots of compliments on this room particularly!

Drummond Park - visually appealing

The development is visually appealing, although residents parking on the roads can be troublesome. The houses are well designed, although the location of the sheds are peculiar. The development is well placed for local amenities and road networks to major areas.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops are within walking distance, along with pubs and restaurants. Bins are collected regularly, good driveway parking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were guided through the process well and kept in the loop. There was nothing that we did not know beforehand.

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen and hallway are both good sizes. We are also pleased with the homes layout.
