Facilities are wonderful

The facilities are wonderful, the finishings are modern and lovely, the property management has been straightforward, professional and all communication has been responded to quickly. The restoration work has been well managed and the services run like clockwork.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We moved into Dolphin Square in September and are delighted; it’s a short walk to battersea park, and even shorter to the Pimlico station on the Victoria line. The residents are respectful and considerate.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response has been immediate, helpful and completed well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

we really haven’t been surprised by anything as all communication from the landlords before moving in was comprehensive and we felt fully prepared when we moved in.

Overall happy with the flat

The flat and design is great, with a good floor and lots of usable garbage. However, it came without a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave/oven as in the floor plan and as agreed. This hasn’t been remedied yet which is disappointing. I am also looking forward to when we have our direct garden access restored, especially as I have a dog.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are a lot of bars and restaurants. It is also near the tube and a great neighborhood overall. It is easy to take out garbage and everything has been great. My dog loves the park nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded quickly but the actual remedies have been slow.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have liked to see the flat itself and not just a floor plan, so I could’ve flagged the missing appliances earlier.

We are delighted to hear that you appreciate the design of the apartment, particularly the consideration put into the flooring and our waste disposal strategy. We appreciate your comments on what you wish you had known before moving in, particularly in relation to the selection of appliances available in your apartment. We are currently arranging the necessary improvements to be made, which will include a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. We are optimistic that this can all be organised within 4-6 weeks, and will improve the overall facilities within your apartment. Thank you for highlighting the prompt responses from our team, however we are sorry to hear that you feel the remedials have been slow. I have provided feedback internally and will ensure a member of the team keeps you updated with the timeframe of your appliance upgrades. A well designed home in a good location

Design is good, enjoy the floors and carpet of the bedroom, the blinds being quite light is good as when they are closed the living room still has a lot of natural light, whereas in the bedroom there is a dark blind so unaffected by sun in morning, only thing I would improve is more storage space

Local area is good, close to convenient stores and shops, close to tube station. Would be better if there were a big supermarket close by

Not as satisfying as I hoped, quick responses but lack of knowledge when answering queries

I wish I had known that there isn't a lot of storage space

Location is also something we are proud of, being a short walk to Pimlico Tube Station and other local amenities, so we hope you continue to enjoy all that the location has to offer. We appreciate your comments on what you wish you had known before moving in, specifically in relation to the storage within your apartment. We have optimised storage space where possible during the restoration of the building so apartments benefit from varying levels of storage, some more than others. However, we will certainly take this feedback into consideration as we continue with the restoration of our other buildings. Thank you for highlighting the prompt responses from our team, however we are sorry to hear that you feel there is a lack of knowledge from the team with regards to the additional amenity packages. We are currently making some changes to our available packages which may be the reason for this. Nonetheless, we understand the importance of ensuring information is readily available and accurate so we will address this internally. The aesthetics of the building are amazing

The aesthetics of the building are amazing, plus the newly renovated interiors are very nice an minimalistic. I love my apartment, it's very nice and cosy, and the location is great. However, I don't feel the price is worth the price, even for Central London. In addition, the apartments have not been renovated to a great quality, and you can tell they've been knocked together very quickly - my bathroom ceiling is leaking and brown, the windows rattle to no avail and paint falls off things. The concept of the facilities at Dolphin Square are amazing, however, they keep getting delayed. Plus, the noise construction at the complex is immense. To the point where you can't hear you TV on full volume.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is perfect. In Pimlico, you're in walking distance of Big Ben, Sloane Square and Battersea Power Station, as well as a range if great coffee shops and bakeries alike. However, there is a little bit of noise, having been located next to Grosvenor Road, and the London heliport. In addition, parking is awful is you own your car, i.e. borrowing a car. The parking requires an expensive permit, which is a pain to get.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well. The customer service is very good and they are always happy to help.

It would've been good to know loud the renovations would be and how long they'd be going on for.

Good compared to competitors but not very good overall

Building design is very beautiful, however it could’ve been renovated more carefully to make the interiors less claustrophobic and more spacious. I’m happy with my luxe studio. Its well renovated and comes with essential furniture. I would expect to have more security as a female student living by myself. Anyone can come into the building even though there’s cctv. 247 security but there’s 1-2 people for the whole 10 houses. I would rather have all houses have their own security, or at least a security system only allowing residents in, or the people they allow in. So many construction works going on in the building all the time. Excessive noise most of the time and for the over 1 year period I’ve been living here, only one of the two very small lifts were working and its really annoying and delaying. Either one of them is always out of order most of the time.

Limited shops because it’s riverside. Nice cafes and neighbourhood. Calm and peaceful during day and night

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are attentive but not always helpful. But the reception team is always kind and trying to help and fix issues.

The security is not enough. Yes the area is safe but i think more security people should be around or there should be a security system at least because it’s claimed to have 24/7 security
