There is unfortunately some minors to the property for example our fence in the garden. One panel is extremely weak we think this is our neighbours fence from property plans, however for a new build we should not have a brand new fence wrecked by the storms earlier this year to be weak and the need to be fixed. This was the same with guttering on the house which we had to get a family friend to help fix as this blew apart from the storms. Other than these few issues, the property is well designed in having both downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom with three additional bedrooms. I feel very comfortable in the house as my first home ?

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Live in a quieter part of the park however have found some nights to be noisy from some other neighbours. Although, I love the fact my property has two driveways so plenty of space parking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I cannot think of anything other than don’t be afraid of asking questions about the property.

What is the best feature of your home:

Back garden space and the large living area. The living room also doubles as dining area but there is plenty of space and I feel very cosy in the living room of the house.

Bloor finish houses to a very good standard. The plan of the estate caters for all. Houses are planned out with adequate space between and you do not feel like you are living on top of each other. Garages are amazing sizes and plenty of parking spaces additionally to drive ways

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good - houses not too close together . Good quality finish Bad - roads not finished, cars driving really fast

Like the design of my house. Couldn’t do it better myself. I would however make the living room slightly bigger than the kitchen. I would also make the master bedroom a lot bigger however, I do have the ensuite so not so fussed. Plenty of facilities inside too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good point: Good people on the estate. Houses are well spaced out. Quality of the house is better than most other development company’s. Bad point: Bloor originally said only one phase would be built that’s a lie. Only making one entrance to the estate and growing is ridiculous. Road still not probably tarmac after 3 years.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I would have known how big the site would eventually turn into.

What is the best feature of your home:

Love the high ceilings inside the property makes the home feel Much more spacious.

Lovely estate

Everything has been great so far. One park has opened up although they have left the majority of the metal gates up. The design I really like , spaced out and not too much on top of eachother. Estate management is okay a little slow on attending to complete bins, grass cutting etc

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There was a lovely walk that took you from the development round the airfield but unfortunately this has now all been restricted due to the new build works. It would be great if they could leave a small Alley to walk up the side and access the path.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The main lorry route for the 2nd phase would be past my house and start from 6.30am and the closure of the entire field restricting access to the Cranfield airport route

What is the best feature of your home:

2 allocated parking spaces and a very large garden

Great value homes

Great development plan. Access to homes through several different roads. Nicely incorporated communal parts. Greatly designed homes with well thought space allocation. The developer provided an excellent customer service during purchase and after selling. The site management company is as useless as anywhere else. They just keep it in reasonable condition. I’m sure council services would do the same job within the tax payments we do anyway! Overall, great value housing development.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location with easy commuting routs to London and other main towns. Large Coop in the village. Two pubs and several cafes and takeaways.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The quality works in laying turf in gardens is horrible. Did not level the ground properly. Rolled out the grass over rubble.

What is the best feature of your home:

The layout is great! The quality of materials an work.
