It is a good development. The location is excellent location because of proximity to work, public schools, public restaurants, public transportation, public gym, church and healthcare It is easy to get to any part of the town fro here and there’s no worrying issues

The location is great. Hospital, schools, churches, playground, public restaurants are close to the property

the houses are built okay, we have had some issues. the small snags were addressed in the first 2 weeks others have just been left for us to resolve ourselve. the development was suppose to be completed in sept 2021. its now may 2022 and it is still not complete. roads have only been surfaced this month. the gates at the front of the development have never worked (and we have had some security issues since moving in too, the gates being close could have prevented this). the meadow is full of dead weeds and hasn't been maintained. there is mud everywhere and it looks so untidy. overall the location and house is lovely however the time scales haven't been met and it seems Allison homes seem to not be bothered with your issues after you have moved in. everything before hand was smooth and simple. however when we first came to ask to view a property, the lady in the office told us we were very young and did we understand the responsibility of owning a home... this was all before she had begun to get to know us and before she knew I worked in the mortgage sector. I did manage to contact the director of the development and she believed the estate was signed off as complete and was shocked when I said what work was still needed. She said she would call me back within 7 days with an update about my concerns, however I have still not heard back from her.

the local area is fine, the parking on my street is limited. our plot was sold to us with a garage next to our house, however our garage is below a flat 2 doors down. there is easy access to out estate both via road and footpath.

you have to keep chasing up for things you are promised. you aren't given everything your promised

What is the best feature of your home:

the layout of the estate, well separated and houses are facing different ways. I love the size of our home.

The house is okay, the third bedroom however is tiny and in my eyes can not actually be considered a bedroom. There are quite a few issues with the build, cracks, holes and leaks that are yet to be sorted after a year. The plot is still not finished and the gates, which were a major selling point, are still not functioning.

The area is really good! Very pleased with the location, parking availability is okay but could be better, all the drives are very close so when everyone is home it can be difficult to manoeuvre.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known the quality that the build would be.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of our home is the garden, although we did have to have it levelled put ourselves.

Very poor example of construction and management of customer care by Alison Homes in Boston. I own this property in Dec 2019 and today in April 2022, handles of doors are not working properly, electricity sockets are loose and some of them are stopped working, main door frame is loose and moving during open and closing of door, vinyl behind the kitchen sink cam out almost in a year after bought property and customer care took more than a year to handle this and finally push blame on us using more water cause vinyl came out. At the time of boiler service British gas engineer notified that wiring connection of boiler is not correct and it's never switching off and after talked to customer care they again put blame on us saying service not done on time, till now I am thinking what is a relation between service and faulty wiring. Hight of the poor construction is galas in shower room broken in pieces and fall down in shower room when no one was inside. Just imagine if it's happen during if any of my family member in shower room, anyone of us may loos a life. If you call customer care, they are well trained to behave rudely and very well trained for passing blames on customers. Other than this Gates on main entrance is fixed since past almost 6 months and never start working, garden for kids are not ready. No traffic signs in side the complex. Be careful before you buy homes from Allison homes Boston.

Location of property is good because of work place is walking distance. No near by shop around the property and the nearest one is either near John Adams R/A or Dobbies on winfleet road. Burton house and The meal is the closest Pub/Restaurant near property.

Though it's a good reputed developer.

What is the best feature of your home:

With Allison home no further, will never recommend anyone to buy a house with this developer
