Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

First house bought with my husband and so glad we chose to go with Davidson homes. Even though we are in a village, great location, close to local amenities, bus and a47 to easily get into the city. Love the whole development, as soon as you drive into the estate you can tell it is a well designed place. Plenty of green areas, ample parking and wide pavements. Bin collections could be better- but that’s not related to Davidson. Noise isn’t too bad as it’s the countryside. There is a park designed as part of this estate which is lovely. Highly recommend Davidson.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded to all my issues, solved very quickly and relevant contractors.

Everything was handled well with davidson homes with in house mortgage brokers, solicitors with a stress free purchase- definately recommend Davidson homes

Very nice quite are over looking the fields. Walking distance from local shops and schools. Very nice local community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The customer care team Responded to my snags straight away and dealt with the issue within 2-4 weeks

Good: excellent location, quiet and beautiful estate. the buildings are nicely spaced out and nicely designed to give the area quite the ''posh'' look.

In our area, there are limited yet appropriate facilities. As it is a village, you wouldn’t expect much but there are parks, small convenience stores and great pubs/restaurants. Living in Houghton was a great decision we made as it is perfect for my family and is a lovely, quiet village.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have helped us correct any issues we have come across in our home often without delay and are quick and efficient in doing so.

I wish we had known how some new builds, like Davidsons, were not typical followers of the impression that new build homes are small. We wouldn’t have thought we would buy a new build due to sizes yet we were heavily impressed with our current home here.
