Awful place

The flats are actually really nice and we have a great view of Gunnersbury Park. The cleaners do a great job on the building, however the building management is horrendous! There are also a number of tenants who do not clean up after themselves and dump rubbish in hallways

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is brilliant! Great pubs and transport links in to London and Surrey. Chiswick is only a 20 minute walk away and has beautiful restaurants

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have not responded at all. Usually, a responsive team would acknowledge your emails or your requests and aim to respond within a given time, but they do not.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How bad the management team were going to be! However, we have loved the surrounding area we have lived in for nearly 3 years now

Great place and people

The Development itself is well designed - big floor-to-ceiling windows, modern plumbing (not 2 taps for hot / cold water like in some older properties), enough sockets and USB ports, enough elevators (I never had a delay during rush hours). Management team are all very friendly and engaging, they were all so helpful with my move, and made me feel very welcome.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very convenient for in/out of town commute by train - it takes 30 minutes to central London and the same time to country-side, great bus links, too. Both bus and train stations are on the doorstep. There is a small Sainsbury's and some take-out food outlets just across the road. Easy walk to Chiswick for nice coffee shops, cute flower stalls, and markets. Riverside is perfect for runners (it is not too crowded like in other parts of London) and it is also such a pretty walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have only had one issue with my lock, and it was dealt with and resolved immediately.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Access by a car, and postcodes puzzle - I had a few issues registering my new address, it was not recognized precisely by some service providers.

Not bad

The facilities design is good but missing the luxury touch. The parking space is little pit small and tiny. The access to the parking is not easy, and during matches it will be closed. The management of the building is poor since I get in my apartment before one week and I found some deficiencies such as painting and bathroom door was not closing well and the fridge was not working. I have contacted Apo management several times via email and phone calls but they just fixed it after one week of my occupancy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is no a lot of shops nearby. Far from the access road and transportation with one acces road to the building

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very slow response as I mentioned above to fix the fridge

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish you don't allow pets inside the building because Really they are scaring my kids and wife

The co-working and shared spaces are amazing

We lived at Apo Kew Bridge from Sept 2022 to Jan 2024, and it was by far the best and happiest place we have ever lived. Unforeseen circumstances meant we had to leave, but we hope to return soon as we have truly loved our time there. We stayed in two separate furnished apartments during our time, a two-bed and a studio and both were fantastic - lots of natural light, great furniture provided and a fantastic amount of space. The co-working and shared spaces have been amazing as we both worked from home the majority of the time. It allowed us to work from home without going mad like in lockdown! The gym is brilliant also. What makes Apo particularly special though is the team. They have been great to us throughout our time there, always incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Apo Kew Bridge is well-situated near various local amenities with a good range of shops, restaurants, and bars, especially around the nearby Kew and Chiswick areas. There are abundant open spaces like Kew Gardens offering a respite from city life. Kew Bridge station is literally right outside your apartment, 18 mins to Clapham Junction, 28 to Waterloo.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very swiftly and effectively. The Apo team are truly fantastic.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not a negative from my point of view, but obviously on Brentford home game days the area gets very busy from around 2 hours before kick off until 2 hours after. Just something to keep in mind!
