Good but could be better

Design of properties is appealing, very modern... however, I think the living room could of been slightly bigger and seems small and then has a larger kitchen. Not ideal for people who have children. I also think there could be more storage in the properties.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There aren't many shops close by (all within a 20minute walk which isn't ideal if all you want is milk) for the amount of houses built. I think there could of been opportunities for a convenience store somewhere in the middle. Excellent public transport a short walk away, the only other issues I would say is the maintenance of the area regarding rubbish on the road and pavements and uneven paths and roads.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I hope they have taken on board residents views and how the development could be better.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Quite a lot of anti social behaviour and graffiti in the area.

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE - ELECTRIC GATES

Jimmy (Owner)

Feb 2022

House was pretty standard but on good price. We got the keys in 3 weeks only. Kitchen was fully furbished with all the kitchen appliances. Blinds on the front windows only which we found a bit weird. Carpets in the living room, bedrooms and on stairs. Vinly floor in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Houses are ok and got the keys in 3 weeks time only in 2012 just like quite a lot of homeowner around so we were very excited. Unfortunately we didn't read properly TP1 contract, especially Annual Maintenance Fees part and we had a suprise now to pay extra £217 (on top of annual fee) for new electric gates that we don't even or ever used as it is on an allocated area and only a few homeowners can use it. We still have to pay as it is part of our area. Obviously everyone is angry who don't use the gates but we can't do anything as we signed the contract. SO PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Good in the first few months, especially in the first but then I couldn't go to office, I had to call customer service in head office. Sometimes I couldn't talk to anyone so I sorted my problems for myself.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Extral maintenance fee for electric gates that I don't even use.

The property has such an elegant feel to it.

The property has such an elegant feel to it. It's small but it makes it cosier for me and my little family. Any issues I had were answered and dealt with easily. In a great area, full of everything you could need.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Absolutely love the house! Small but cosy in a quiet area suitable for small families and close to local schools, well known shops just up the road and plenty of accessible bus routes.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management were very helpful and informative about any problems we had.

Amy Johnson home review

The design of the house is very nice and modern. I really like the creativity and effort put into the design. The facilities are amazing as there are 2 bathrooms and a toilet. I would say that the building management is average as in some places around the house you can see that not enough effort was put into, for example the walls are not painted smoothly in some spots.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The pros of living in this area is that it’s a beautiful new estate, there is lots of shops and it’s not too far away from the city centre so that’s great. However the cons are that there is quite a bit of theft going on, I my self was a victim and my car was broken into in December. Other than that the Amy Johnson neighbourhood is very good

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have resolved all of the problems I had with the property, it didn’t take them too long to do it so I’m happy from the service.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wouldn’t advice going out at night as there are a lot of dodgy people and sometimes there is theft

Very helpful when buying the property and the head builder was very helpful.

Design and facilities good. Very helpful when buying the property and the head builder was very helpful. After sales support however have not been great at getting back to us. Complained for months about a leaking ceiling and they did nothing. I eventually went up into the loft myself and fixed it - was not impressed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Many shops and restaurants available within a short walk. Transport links are good although can get very busy during the rush hour. The street is generally quiet with parking available. Occasional anti-social behaviour with gangs of teenagers and drunks passing by, mainly making noise (not had any other trouble).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

At first within a few weeks of moving in they were very good and helpful. However after being in for six months and complaining about a leaking ceiling the response was very poor and took months, eventually sorting the problem myself after water dripping through a light fitting over Christmas!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I had researched the area more, would prefer a quieter area.
