Elephant and Castle has improved massively in the last few years, with new restaurants, shops… but sadly, we have been experiencing lots of problems with thieves stealing phones just out of the building so the area seems a little unsafe. In my opinion, the area needs more supermarkets

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Frequently, the response has been quick and they have managed to fix it in a convenient time

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

In my opinion, I would like to have more space in the bedroom as the wardrobe is too small

The area is great, a more local shop would be great but that's about it! Will be great when the viaduct is developed.

Underfloor heating is good but don't have it on all the time, can be costly. Don't store your bike in the bike store, it'll get stolen!

What is the best feature of your home:

Quiet, underfloor heating, great kitchen, big windows, nice balcony, well built

The location is great although there have been some issues with security. I believe they now have security patrol who walk around which makes it better.

I wish I knew how small the gym - and wish that they added more equipment.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature is the flat itself as well as the friendly reception.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The neighborhood is very well located with easy connections to Central and South London. There are also great restaurants and stores within walking distance. The only negative about the location is the position on a busy road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The maintenance team responds to requests very quickly

There is nothing else that I wish I knew before moving in

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is very close to Tube stations and has many bus connections, but it is very busy and noisy. There are lots of people going up and down the road outside so it is not very peaceful. There are lots of food options nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are very prompt to respond to issues and will fix them without complaint.

I wish I’d known how stressful it was to live in the area.
